Tucker's counting stats are down after he missed three months with a shin injury, but he's still been productive with 23 homers, 48 RBI, 55 runs scored, 11 stolen bases and a .281/.405/.588 slash line over 76 contests this season.

The third baseman is up to 26 homers this season, his most in the last five years. Astros' Josh Hader: Grabs four-out save

Hader struck out three over 1.1 perfect innings to earn the save in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Mariners.

Hader stranded runners on the corners he inherited from Ryan Pressly in the eighth inning before pitching a perfect ninth for the save. Over his last seven outings, Hader has gone 5-for-7 in save chances while picking up a win and a loss in that span. He's been scored on in five of his last 13 outings and now has a 3.60 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 104:24 K:BB with 34 saves in 38 chances over 70 innings this season.

Over his last five starts, he's allowed five runs across 33 innings with a 30:11 K:BB in that span. The southpaw is now at a 2.91 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 169:55 K:BB through 176.1 innings across 28 starts this season. Valdez's next start is likely to come in the playoffs. He is on turn to pitch during the wild-card round, as the Astros are locked in to finishing third among the American League's division winners.

  • Bailey Ober SP | MIN

Twins' Bailey Ober: Done in by one rough inning

Ober (12-8) allowed four runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out seven over five innings, taking the loss versus the Marlins on Tuesday.

Ober allowed all four runs in the second inning, and the Twins' offense couldn't back him up. His late fade has pushed his ERA up to 3.94 with a 1.00 WHIP and 187:43 K:BB through 173.2 innings over 30 starts this season. Ober is tentatively projected to make one more regular-season start at home versus the Orioles.

  • Matt Wallner RF | MIN

Twins' Matt Wallner: Battling oblique tightness

Wallner was removed from Tuesday's game against the Marlins due to left oblique tightness, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Wallner was grabbing at his left side after striking out during his pinch-hit appearance in the sixth inning. The Twins have now confirmed the issue to be in the 26-year-old's oblique, though the team will have to wait until Wednesday to determine the severity of his injury. If he needs to sit down for a game or two, Jose Miranda may be in line for more work as Minnesota's DH.

  • Orioles' Seranthony Dominguez: Collects 11th save

Dominguez picked up the save in Tuesday's 5-3 victory over the Yankees, pitching a clean two-thirds of an inning with no strikeouts.

The Baltimore closer collected his first save since Sept. 10 to send the Orioles back to the postseason. After Gregory Soto faced two left-handed batters -- Jazz Chisholm and Anthony Rizzo -- to open the ninth, Dominguez relieved him to tidily retire the next two batters on just seven pitches. Since joining Baltimore on July 26, Dominguez has collected 10 saves while pitching to a 3.43 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 26:7 K:BB across 21 innings.

The Baltimore right-hander controlled a vaunted New York lineup at Yankee Stadium over 83 pitches to clinch a playoff spot for the Orioles. The lone blemish on Kremer's evening came in the fourth when he allowed a solo homer to Aaron Judge. With this performance, Kremer lowered his second-half ERA from 3.98 to 3.81 to go with a 1.27 WHIP and 59:26 K:BB across 61 innings. He is currently projected to make his final start of the regular season against the Twins in Minnesota this weekend.

The 28-year-old has now struck out seven batters in back-to-back outings that have both resulted in losses. Schmidt was faring well against a tough Baltimore lineup until Anthony Santander knocked a solo homer off the right-field foul pole in the sixth, ending the New York starter's night at an even 100 pitches. Since returning from a strained right lat Sept. 7, Schmidt has pitched to a 2.61 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 21:6 K:BB across 20.2 frames. He lines up to make his final start of the regular season against the Pirates at home this weekend.

Judge has picked up the homer pace over the past 10 games, as he's hitting .387 (12-for-31) with five long balls, three doubles, nine runs scored and 13 RBI over that span.
