Larnach is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.

He'll close out the campaign with consecutive absences against southpaws. With Larnach on the bench Sunday, Ryan Jeffers will serve as the Twins' designated hitter.

Julien is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.

He'll remain on the bench for the second day in a row while the Phillies send another lefty (Cristopher Sanchez) to the hill. If he's not needed off the bench Sunday, Julien will wrap up the season with a .220/.309/.324 slash line, three home runs, 13 runs and 12 RBI over 208 plate appearances.

Gonzalez is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.

Gonzalez was seeing consistent run at second base, though this is now his second consecutive absence to close out the regular season. The 29-year-old has proven to be an excellent fit with the Red Sox, as he's slashed .290/.329/.457 over the past two regular seasons, and if he's healthy he figures to serve as a starter in the playoffs.

Basallo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Basallo will be rested for the season finale after he made starts at catcher and designated hitter in the first two contests of the series, going 0-for-7 with five strikeouts. Unless he's called upon off the bench Sunday, Basallo will finish out the 2025 campaign with a .165/.229/.330 slash line to go with four home runs, 15 RBI and 10 runs across 31 games with the Orioles. Despite a rough showing in his first big-league stint, Basallo is locked in as a cornerstone piece for Baltimore after inking an eight-year, $67 million contract with the club in August.

Jackson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

With Tyler O'Neill picking up his second start in right field in three days, Jackson will hit the bench for the second time this weekend. Unless he's called upon as a reserve, Jackson will wrap up the campaign with a .276/.328/.447 slash line, five home runs, 21 RBI and 20 runs across 183 plate appearances with Baltimore.

Taylor announced prior to Sunday's game against the Nationals that he will retire from professional baseball following the contest, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

The 34-year-old said that he decided a few months ago that 2025 would be his last season, but he waited until the final game to confirm his plans. The White Sox will include Taylor in the lineup for Sunday's contest, as he'll occupy center field and bat ninth. The veteran has played 12 years in the big leagues and enters the finale with a .199/.256/.366 slash line, nine home runs and eight stolen bases over 321 plate appearances this season.

Robertson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

After making five straight starts, Robertson will close out the season on the bench for four of the final five contests. Since being summoned from Triple-A Charlotte on Aug. 27, Robertson has put together a weak .148/.175/.167 batting line.

Wilson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.

Unless he's called upon off the bench as a pinch hitter, Wilson will wrap up his first full big-league season with a .311/.355/.444 slash line, 13 home runs, five stolen bases, 63 RBI and 62 runs in 125 games. Max Muncy will step in for Wilson at shortstop in the finale.

Langeliers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.

The 76-85 Athletics have little at stake in the season finale and will allow Langeliers to get some rest after he had started each of the last five contests. The 27-year-old backstop will finish his fourth MLB campaign with a .277/.325/.536 slash line, 31 home runs, seven stolen bases, 73 runs and 72 RBI in 123 games.

Caglianone is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.

The Royals will withhold Caglianone from the lineup for the second straight day to close out the regular season, with John Rave getting another start in the outfield. Though the 22-year-old Caglianone is still viewed as a major part of the Royals' long-term future, he's had a tough go in his first taste of the big leagues, slashing just .158/.238/.297 in 231 plate appearances since being promoted from Triple-A Omaha in June.
