Lugo allowed seven runs on 14 hits and a walk while striking out three over 6.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Angels on Sunday.

Lugo really didn't have his best stuff, but he was left in the game longer than most starters would be with those kinds of numbers being put up against him. He ultimately threw 72 of 97 pitches for strikes but was simply too hittable in this outing, though the Royals were able to provide some surprises late in the game to get him off the hook. Chalk this up as just an off performance for Lugo, who hadn't allowed more than two runs in any of his first five starts of the campaign. He's at a 2.63 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 31:11 K:BB through 37.2 innings over six starts this season. Lugo's chance at a bounce-back effort is projected to be on the road against the Mariners.

Corbin did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Guardians, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out four.

Corbin was solid early, holding Cleveland scoreless through four innings, but he ran into trouble in the fifth, when he allowed four hits before he was pulled with two outs in the frame. Since stepping into Toronto's injury-plagued rotation, Corbin has posted a 3.72 ERA with a 1.24 WHIP and 16:6 K:BB across four outings (19.1 innings). He's tentatively lined up to face the Twins on the road in his next start.

Pinango went 1-for-2 in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Guardians.

After flying out in his first at-bat, Pinango laced a two-out single off Slade Cecconi in the fourth inning for his first big-league hit. Myles Straw would later pinch hit for PInango in the sixth inning against lefty Tim Herrin. The 23-year-old Pinango got off to a nice start with Triple-A Buffalo this year, slashing .288/.370/.488 with three homers in his first 22 games. He should see regular at-bats against right-handed pitching while Addison Barger (ankle) and Nathan Lukes (hamstring) are sidelined.

Ginn left Sunday's start against the Rangers in the fourth inning with right shoulder soreness, Dave Sessions of MLB.com reports.

Ginn cruised through three scoreless frames before hitting Evan Carter with a pitch with one out in the bottom of the fourth. The right-handed pitcher then appeared to be favoring his right side after delivering a 94.1 mph sinker to Jake Burger at the plate, and he was ultimately forced to exit the contest as a result. Manager Mark Kotsay explained following the team's 2-1 victory that Ginn was dealing with "some form of a stinger in the shoulder area" and that the team wasn't going to "risk anything further." The club is expected to re-evaluate Ginn on Monday.

Cecconi (0-4) took the loss Sunday against the Blue Jays, allowing four runs on six hits and a walk over 5.2 innings. He struck out five.

Cecconi's start was better than his final line would indicate. After giving up two runs in the first inning, the righty held Toronto off the board until Jesus Sanchez's two-run homer in the sixth. Still, it's the fourth loss through six starts this season for Cecconi, whose ERA sits at an ugly 6.23 with a 1.52 WHIP and 25:13 K:BB across 30.1 innings. He's also given up at least one home run in four of his six starts. He'll look to turn things around his next time out, currently scheduled to come next week on the road against the A's.

Varland earned the save in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Guardians, allowing one hit while striking out two in a scoreless ninth inning.

Varland gave up a leadoff single to Chase DeLauter to start the ninth before rebounding to set down the next three Guardians, including back-to-back strikeouts of Steven Kwan and Angel Martinez. Varland looks to have earned the primary closing job in Toronto, as he's converted three straight save chances for the Jays. The right-hander has certainly earned the opportunity, posting a sparkling 0.60 ERA with a 1.07 WHIP and 23:4 K:BB through his first 15 innings this season.

Burke allowed three hits and struck out four across 7.1 innings during the Nationals' 2-1 extra-inning win over the White Sox on Sunday. He did not issue a walk.

Bryan Hudson served as Sunday's opener, and Burke followed with seven-plus strong innings, yielding just three baserunners before being pulled in the ninth inning. It was Burke's best performance since his quality start against the Blue Jays on April 3, and he now sits at a 3.21 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 24:7 K:BB across 33.2 innings. His next turn in the rotation is next weekend on the road against the Padres, but it's unclear whether he'll operate behind an opener for that contest.

Dominguez is expected to be called up from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Monday, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Dominguez will join the Yankees ahead of the team's three-game series on the road against the Rangers. The outfielder has started the season red-hot at the Triple-A level, producing a .326 average with three home runs, 15 RBI, 15 runs scored and eight stolen bases over 92 at-bats in 24 contests. Dominguez will provide New York with an additional option in the outfield due to Giancarlo Stanton (calf) being banged up, and it's possible that Stanton is headed for a stint on the injured list.

Ferrer notched the save Sunday against the Cardinals, throwing a clean ninth inning.

Closer Andres Munoz worked each of the first two games of this series against St. Louis, opening the door for Ferrer on Sunday to claim his first save of the season. The southpaw is likely to continue serving in occasional high-leverage situations as needed, posting a 1.93 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 10:3 K:BB with two holds over 14 innings.

Hancock took a no-decision Sunday against the Cardinals, allowing two runs on seven hits and two walks in six innings. He struck out four.

While the right-hander did serve up a pair of home runs and threw only 53 of his 94 pitches for strikes, he still delivered a strong performance overall Sunday. Hancock pitched at least five frames in his sixth consecutive start to open the campaign, and he still hasn't given up more than three runs in any outing yet. Hancock is filling in admirably for the injured Bryce Miller (oblique), producing a 2.86 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 32:6 K:BB through 34.2 innings, and he'll be looking to continue his success against the Royals next weekend.
