Brito started at second base and went 1-for-3 with a walk, a double and a run scored in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Blue Jays.

Brito doubled and scored in the third inning and walked as part of a ninth-inning rally that fell short. In between, he misplayed a grounder that led to Toronto scoring three runs in the sixth inning, although the play was not ruled an error. Brito has been charged with three errors and has minus-1 Outs Above Average since being called up to the majors April 7, but he appears to have some runway with Gabriel Arias (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list and is working on his defense with an infield coach, per Tim Stebbins of MLB.com. Daniel Schneemann and Angel Martinez are also options to handle the keystone, but manager Stephen Vogt values Schneemann's versatility and likes Martinez more in the outfield.

Adell went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's loss to the Royals.

Adell accounted for the only Angels run with a solo shot to center field in the fourth inning. The homer also extended the outfielder's streak of producing an RBI to three games. Adell isn't on pace to approach the career-high 37 long balls he hit last season, as he's gone deep a modest four times through 28 contests this year. However, he's shown improvement in other areas, as his .265 batting average is on pace to be a career-best mark, and his 19.8 percent strikeout rate would easily be the lowest of his career.

McGonigle went 3-for-5 with a solo home run and a double in a loss to the Reds on Saturday.

McGonigle gave Detroit an early lead when he knocked Brady Singer's second pitch of the game over the center-field fence for a leadoff homer. The Tigers were able to score only one more run the rest of the way, but that was no fault of McGonigle, who finished with his eighth multi-hit game of the campaign. The talented rookie has had no trouble adjusting to MLB pitching, as he's slashing .333/.424/.539 with two homers, 11 doubles, 12 RBI, 21 runs and two stolen bases over his first 27 contests.

Flaherty (0-2) took the loss against Cincinnati on Saturday, surrendering six runs on five hits and two walks while striking out four batters over two innings.

Flaherty was staked to a 1-0 lead after half an inning, but he quickly fell behind by yielding two homers for four total runs in the bottom of the frame. The Reds got to him for another long ball in the second, and Flaherty wasn't allowed to return to the mound for the third. The three long balls were a season worst for Flaherty, who had given up just one homer over his five starts prior to Saturday. It's been an up-and-down campaign, as Flaherty holds a 5.33 ERA despite yielding one or no earned runs in three of his six outings. His next start is projected to be a home matchup versus Texas.

Teng (1-1) was tagged with the loss Saturday against the Yankees after allowing one run on two hits in one-third of an inning.

This was just the fourth run Teng has allowed this season, though it's worth noting that three of those have come via solo home runs. Despite being tagged with the loss and lasting just one-third of an inning Saturday, Teng has enjoyed a strong start to the campaign and sports a 2.16 ERA through 16.2 frames.

Burrows didn't factor into the decision Saturday against the Yankees after allowing two runs on five hits and three walks across five innings, striking out eight.

The eight punchouts were a season-high mark for Burrows, who has now recorded a 15:5 K:BB in 9.2 innings over his last two starts. Burrows has yet to record a quality start this season and has given up at least three earned runs in four of his six outings, with his 6.25 ERA leaving a lot to be desired. The 26-year-old righty tentatively projects to make a road start against the Red Sox next weekend.

Caballero went 3-for-5 with a solo home run and a stolen base in Saturday's win over the Astros.

Caballero was one of two Yankees who recorded three hits in this win, pushing his hitting streak to seven games in the process. The 29-year-old also made his presence felt on the basepaths with his 10th stolen base of the campaign. During his ongoing seven-game hit streak, Caballero has four multi-hit performances while batting 12-for-28 (.429 average) with two homers, three RBI, six runs scored and a stolen base.

Cruz (2-0) earned the win over the Astros on Saturday after not allowing a run over two-thirds of an inning, walking one and striking out two.

Cruz recorded the final two outs of the sixth inning. Even though he walked Jose Altuve as soon as he entered the game, he bounced back by striking out Christian Walker and Yainer Diaz. Cruz had given up at least one run in his previous two relief appearances, so this was a nice bounce-back performance for the right-hander. Still, given his recent inconsistencies and the role he's filling in the bullpen right now, his fantasy upside is limited.

Weathers didn't factor into the decision Saturday against the Astros after allowing two runs on six hits across 5.1 innings. He struck out four.

Making his first start since returning from paternity leave earlier this week, Weathers picked things up where he left off after firing 7.1 scoreless innings in his previous outing. The left-hander fell just two outs away from recording his third quality start of the season, but he's still pitching well with two or fewer earned runs allowed in three of his last four starts. Now with a 3.21 ERA across 33.2 innings this year, Weathers should make his next start at home against the Orioles.

Perez went 3-for-5 with a home run, an additional RBI and an additional run scored in Saturday's win over the Angels.

Perez launched his fourth homer of the season with a solo shot to left field in the bottom of the second inning and later plated a run with an RBI single as he posted his second three-hit game of the year. Despite Saturday's strong outing, the backstop continues to have an underwhelming season with a .186 average and .555 OPS through 108 plate appearances.
