Realmuto isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Toronto, Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Realmuto has notched four base hits across the Phillies' last three games, but he'll move to the bench to begin Saturday's game while Garrett Stubbs starts behind the plate and bats ninth.

Tatis went 2-for-5 with a solo home run Friday in a loss to the Astros.

Tatis brought the Padres to within a run with his 400-foot blast to left field in the fifth inning. The long ball was his second over his past three games and his 10th of the campaign. That's far off the pace Tatis has established in previous seasons, though it should be remembered that he failed to hit a homer until his 56th contest this season. Since that initial home run, he's belted 10 long balls across 60 games, adding 34 RBI, 12 stolen bases and a .291/.355/.494 slash line.

The Reds optioned Petty to Triple-A Louisville on Saturday.

Petty gave up three runs (two earned) in 1.2 innings while serving as the Reds' opening pitcher in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Nationals, and he'll now head back to the minors to open up a spot on the active roster for righty Ron Marinaccio, who was claimed off waivers from Pittsburgh. Petty now owns a 4.83 ERA and 1.26 WHIP through 31.2 innings this season.

McCray isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Tigers, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

McCray will get a day to regroup after going 0-for-13 with five walks, two runs and a steal across his last six games. Eddys Leonard will start in left field and bat seventh while McCray sits.

Cruz walked one and struck out one in a scoreless seventh inning Friday to record his first career hold in Friday's win over the Reds.

Acquired from the Yankees in the Luis Garcia deal at the trade deadline, Cruz has quickly slid into a high-leverage role in the Nationals' bullpen. The right-hander topped out at 102 mph with his fastball but leaned heavily on his slider, which he used to fan Matt McLain and coax an inning-ending double play from Sal Stewart. Washington has been looking for a power arm to anchor the back of its bullpen all year, so Cruz should get a long look as a late-inning option. Through his first 6.2 big-league innings between the Yankees and Nats, he sports a 2.70 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 8:3 K:BB.

Semien went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Friday's win over the Pirates.

He took Carmen Mlodzinski deep in the third inning, giving the Mets a 5-0 lead they were able to hold onto in an eventual 6-4 win. Semien has homered in back-to-back games, and his bat is showing signs of life late in the year -- over his last 12 contests, the 35-year-old is batting .306 (11-for-36) with four homers, two steals, 10 runs and 10 RBI.

Basabe went 2-for-3 with a run scored in Friday's 5-2 win over the Tigers.

Basabe singled in the second inning before coming around to score, and he added another base hit in the sixth. The 25-year-old infielder has recorded at least one hit in six straight games, batting .364 with eight RBI, four runs scored, three home runs and a double in 24 plate appearances during that span. With Luis Arraez now in Philadelphia, Basabe figures to handle a regular role in the infield, especially with Marcelo Mayer (forearm) sidelined.

Lile went 2-for-4 with a double, a three-run home run and a second run scored in Friday's 5-3 win over the Reds.

The 23-year-old seems to save his best performances for games against the team that plays just up Interstate 71 from his home town in Louisville. In six career games versus the Reds, Lile has gone 9-for-25 (.360) with six extra-base hits, including four homers, and 13 RBI. Lile has had an up-and-down campaign, and while he's batting just .236 (17-for-72) in 21 games since the All-Star break, he's clubbed five of his 15 homers on the season while adding two steals, 10 runs and 15 RBI.

Cardinals president of baseball operations Chaim Bloom said Friday that Roby (elbow) could be ready to face hitters in the coming days, Daniel Guerrero of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Roby had seemed like a long shot to pitch this season after he underwent Tommy John surgery in late July of last year. However, he's progressed well in his rehab and is "getting closer and closer" to pitching in a game, per Bloom. The 24-year-old could make a few late-season appearances and is a candidate to be assigned to the Arizona Fall League and/or winter ball as he looks to make up for lost innings.

Beeter struck out one in a perfect ninth inning Friday to record his 12th save of the season in a 5-3 win over the Reds.

The Nationals got a rare smooth performance from the bullpen, as Yovanny Cruz and Orlando Ribalta handled the seventh and eighth innings before Beeter wrapped things up. Beeter has been far from a lockdown closer, however, and over 12 appearances and 9.2 innings since the beginning of July he's stumbled to a 5.59 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 8:4 K:BB while blowing two of eight save chances.
