Ohtani went 3-for-3 with a solo home run, a double, an additional run scored and a walk in Sunday's 6-0 win over the Cubs.

Ohtani reached base in all four of his plate appearances, highlighted by an opposite-field solo homer off Hoby Milner in the seventh inning. It marked the two-way superstar's first long ball since April 12 after he slashed just .182/.294/.250 over his previous 11 games. Ohtani's numbers at the plate may not be as eye-popping as in recent seasons, but he's still slashing .262/.391/.485 with six homers, 12 RBI, 19 runs and three stolen bases while also dominating on the mound with a 0.38 ERA and 0.75 WHIP along with a 2-0 record across 24 innings (four starts).

Imanaga (2-2) took the loss Sunday, allowing five runs on six hits and three walks over 5.1 innings against the Dodgers. He struck out six.

Imanaga wasn't at his best, allowing a season-high five runs, including three in the first inning. Sunday's outing snapped a stretch of stellar pitching from the southpaw, who had allowed just three runs across 24 innings over his previous four starts. Overall, the 32-year-old owns a 3.15 ERA and 0.87 WHIP with a 38:9 K:BB across 29 innings (five starts), and his next outing is projected for Saturday against the Diamondbacks.

Castano was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque after Sunday's doubleheader sweep of the Mets.

Castano was called up to serve as Colorado's 27th man ahead of Sunday's pair of contests in New York, but he didn't appear in either victory. The right-hander will now return to the Triple-A level, where he's posted a 1.23 ERA and 0.68 WHIP with five strikeouts over seven appearances with Triple-A Tacoma and Triple-A Albuquerque so far this year.

Wrobleski (4-0) earned the win Sunday, allowing four hits and four walks over six scoreless innings in a 6-0 win over the Cubs. He struck out six.

Wrobleski kept the Cubs' bats quiet, turning in his third consecutive quality start and fourth straight win. After recording just nine strikeouts through his first four outings, the 25-year-old notched a season-high six punchouts Sunday. While strikeouts haven't been a major part of his profile this season, Wrobleski has pitched to a stellar 1.50 ERA and 0.97 WHIP across 30 innings (five appearances) in 2026.

Slater and the Mets agreed on a contract Sunday, Chelsea Janes of SNY.tv reports.

Slater will head to the Big Apple after being designated for assignment by the Marlins on Wednesday. The outfielder cleared waivers and electing free agency Sunday, and he has now quickly found a new home. Slater struggled to a .174 average with an RBI, a run scored and a stolen base over 23 at-bats with Miami this season, but he owns a .777 career OPS versus left-handed pitchers, and he'll likely get a shot to start against southpaws with New York. Tommy Pham was designated for assignment by the Mets on Sunday, freeing up a spot on both the 40-man roster and major-league squad for Slater.

Nola (1-3) took the loss Sunday against Atlanta, allowing six runs on seven hits and three walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out six.

Atlanta got to Nola early Sunday. The righty gave up a three-run homer to Matt Olson in the first inning before giving up another three runs in the third, punctuated by an Eli White homer. Nola has failed to make it out of the fifth inning in back-to-back outings, allowing 11 runs in just nine frames in that span. His ERA is up to 6.03 through six starts (31.1 innings) with a 1.56 WHIP and 35:13 K:BB. Nola will look to turn things around in his next outing, tentatively scheduled for next week in Miami.

Sale (5-1) earned the win Sunday over the Phillies, allowing one hit and two walks over six scoreless innings. He struck out nine.

It was another stellar outing from Sale, as he notched his fifth win and quality start while setting a new season high with nine punchouts. The veteran southpaw has allowed just two runs over 19 innings in his last three starts, lowering his ERA to 2.31 on the year with a 0.91 WHIP and 38:9 K:BB across 35 innings. Sale is tentatively lined up to face the Rockies at Coors Field his next time out.

Schultz earned the save in the Nationals' 2-1 extra-inning win over the White Sox on Sunday, allowing one unearned run on one hit while striking out two in the 10th frame.

Gus Varland and Richard Lovelady were deployed in the eighth and ninth innings, respectively, which prompted the Nationals to turn to Schultz to protect the team's 2-0 lead. A Tristan Peters RBI single brought home the White Sox's ghost runner in the 10th inning, but Schultz shut the door by striking out the next two batters he faced to come away with the first save of his major-league career. Varland blew his save chance Saturday, and given that he pitched in the eighth inning of Sunday's game, Schultz might be in the mix for save opportunities for as long as Clayton Beeter (forearm) is on the 15-day injured list.

Pauley went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run in Sunday's 6-3 loss against the Giants.

Pauley connected on his first homer of 2026, clubbing a Landen Roupp curveball over the right-field wall in the second inning to give the Marlins a 3-0 advantage, though they wouldn't score again and ultimately relinquished the lead. Pauley's .621 OPS through 64 plate appearances isn't much to write home about, though he's currently riding a four-game hitting streak and should continue to see sizable playing time at the hot corner against right-handed pitching.

Griffin did not factor into Sunday's decision against the White Sox. He allowed two hits and two walks while striking out eight across seven scoreless innings.

Griffin set the tone early by striking out the side in the first inning after yielding a single. He allowed just three more baserunners over the next six frames, but he was unable to come away with the win as neither team scored until extra innings. For Griffin, it was his second-straight quality start and the fourth time this season that he gave up two earned runs or less. He has a 3-0 record through six starts with a 2.67 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 30:10 K:BB across 33.2 innings in 2026. Griffin is slated to make his next start next weekend at home against the Brewers.
