DeJong went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and an additional run scored during Sunday's 11-9 loss to the Phillies.

DeJong tried to spark a comeback Sunday, tagging Max Lazar for a three-run home run in the bottom of the ninth to make it a two-run game. His long ball prompted the Phillies to insert closer Jhoan Duran, who immediately shut the door. DeJong has been on a heater recently, having hit five home runs in his last 10 games and going 12-for-39 (.308) during that stretch.

Bohm went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and an additional run scored during Sunday's 11-9 win over Washington.

Bohm appeared in an MLB game for the first time in almost a month after suffering a left rib fracture, and he didn't miss a beat. The third baseman swatted his ninth home run of the campaign, tagging Mitchell Parker for a three-run homer in the second inning. Bohm is now one round tripper away from his fourth straight season with double-digit home runs. In 388 plate appearances, Bohm is slashing .280/.327/.401.

Castellanos went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run scored during Sunday's 11-9 win over the Nationals.

Castellanos got the day off Saturday to clear his head amid a 1-for-33 (.030) stretch at the plate, and the additional rest proved fruitful. The right fielder logged multiple extra-base hits for the first time since June 22, including a solo homer off of Shinnosuke Ogasawara. Castellanos is slashing .253/.291/.413 on the year.

Nola didn't factor into the decision Sunday against Washington, allowing six runs on seven hits and one walk with four strikeouts across 2.1 innings.

Nola made his long-awaited return from the injured list Sunday after missing three months with an ankle sprain and stress fracture in his right rib. The 32-year-old worked up to 84 pitches during his minor-league rehab assignment, but he lasted merely 53 pitches as the Nationals teed off on him in the third inning. Nola yielded six of his seven hits and his lone walk in the frame, all consecutively. The 32-year-old had been excellent during his rehab assignment, posting a 2.19 ERA and a 17:3 K:BB in 12.1 innings across three appearances. He's tentatively scheduled for a rematch with the Nationals next weekend.

Duran picked up the save Sunday against the Nationals, striking out one over a perfect two-thirds of an inning.

Duran was carted off the field Friday after taking a comebacker to the ankle, but he avoided structural damage and said Saturday he was feeling 100 percent. The Phillies didn't require his services in Saturday's loss. However, they called upon Duran midway through the ninth inning Sunday after Max Lazar surrendered a three-run home run to trim the lead to two runs. Duran came in and retired Dylan Crews and James Wood back-to-back to earn his 21st save. The 27-year-old closer has converted each of his last 11 save opportunities, notching a 1.93 ERA and a 17:4 K:BB across 18.2 innings during that stretch.

Parker didn't factor into the decision Sunday against Philadelphia, allowing six runs (five earned) on four hits and three walks over 1.2 innings. He didn't record a strikeout.

Parker's rough start to August continued Sunday, yielding at least four runs for a fourth straight outing and failing to make it out of the second inning for the first time all year. The 25-year-old has surrendered at least one homer in all four appearances this month. During that stretch, Parker has a 12.38 ERA and a 13:10 K:BB over 16 innings. He's on track to face the Phillies once again next weekend.

Junk didn't factor into the decision Sunday against Boston, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk across seven innings. He struck out six.

Junk had completed exactly five innings in each of his previous five starts, and he tied his season high in innings pitched. The outing also marked Junk's fourth quality start of the campaign. 2025 has been the 29-year-old's first extended look as an MLB starter, and he's posted a 4.04 ERA and a 58:9 K:BB across 82.1 innings on the year. Junk is tentatively scheduled to pitch next weekend against the Blue Jays.

Bender picked up the save Sunday against the Red Sox, allowing one hit and one walk across a scoreless ninth inning. He struck out one.

Bender took the mound for Sunday's ninth-inning work as the Marlins continue to take a closer-by-committee approach. Lake Bachar, Calvin Faucher and Ronny Henriquez have also seen save chances since the All-Star break. While there hasn't been any specific trend in which reliever receives a save opportunity, Bender's bullpen-leading 2.16 ERA in 50 innings pitched this season could afford him more ninth-inning looks down the stretch of the regular season.

Marsee went 2-for-2 with a two-run home run during Sunday's 5-3 win over the Red Sox.

Marsee played hero Sunday, swatting the go-ahead home run off Steven Matz in the top of the ninth inning. The outfielder entered as a pinch hitter in the eighth inning and hit a leadoff single. Marsee has been outstanding since being called up, slashing .377/.468/.774 with four home runs, six stolen bases and a 9:11 BB:K in 62 plate appearances.

Wagaman went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored during Sunday's 5-3 win over Boston.

Wagaman has seen his playing time trend downward as he continues to struggle at the plate. Sunday's contest marked his first multi-hit performance since July 2, a stretch in which he went 15-for-88 (.170) with a homer, two doubles and two triples. Wagaman has been in the starting nine in two of Miami's last five games, as Troy Johnston and Liam Hicks have been seeing some work at first base.
