Donovan (foot) is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Yankees.

Donovan was scratched from Friday's lineup with a foot injury, and he'll be sidelined once again Saturday. It's unclear if his absence is due to the injury or simply to avoid a same-hand matchup against southpaw Max Fried. Thomas Saggese will draw another start at second base.

Contreras (foot) is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Yankees.

Contreras will miss a third consecutive game since suffering a bruised foot on a hit-by-pitch Tuesday. His absence will allow Alec Burleson to draw another start at first base.

Stowers is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Red Sox.

After making three straight starts in left field, Stowers will yield to Heriberto Hernandez at the position Saturday against Brayan Bello. Stowers went 5-for-11 with three doubles over the last three games.

Diaz earned a hold against the Padres on Friday, tossing a scoreless two-thirds of an inning while allowing one hit and striking out two batters.

Despite the fact that Diaz hadn't notched a save or even a hold over his first seven outings with the Dodgers, manager Dave Roberts summoned him Friday in an intensely high-leverage situation -- Diaz inherited a one-run lead in the ninth inning against the Padres, who entered the contest one game ahead of Los Angeles for first place in the NL West. Though Diaz allowed a one-out single to Jackson Merrill, the veteran reliever impressed overall, striking out the other two batters he faced while firing 14 of 20 pitches for strikes. The Dodgers' late-innings bullpen situation remains unsettled with closer Tanner Scott (elbow) along with top setup men Kirby Yates (back), Michael Kopech (knee) and Brock Stewart (shoulder) all on the IL, so Roberts has been mixing things up in recent weeks. However, Scott, Yates and Kopech are all nearing returns, so Diaz may not be the best pickup for speculative save opportunities moving forward.

Duran (ankle) said Saturday that he's feeling 100 percent after being carted off the field during Friday's game, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

It's an incredibly encouraging sign for the 27-year-old closer, who was struck by a comebacker in the right ankle Friday. Duran appears to be feeling well enough to pitch, but the Phillies could opt to give him a night off as a precaution, given his critical role and the team's recent investment.

Castellanos isn't part of the starting nine for Saturday's game against the Nationals.

Castellanos will get the afternoon off after making six consecutive starts in right field. Brandon Marsh, Harrison Bader and Max Kepler will fill the outfield Saturday from left to right.

Manager Don Kelly said Friday that Heaney will pitch out of the bullpen for the rest of 2025, Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Heaney hasn't pitched into the sixth inning in seven consecutive starts and has topped 80 pitches just twice during that stretch. The left-hander will now serve as a bulk option out of the bullpen. It's unclear who the Pirates will slot into Heaney's spot in the rotation, but the veteran was slated to pitch Sunday. Heaney has a 4.99 ERA and 83:38 K:BB across 119 innings in 2025.

Davis isn't part of the starting nine for Saturday's game against the Cubs.

Davis and Joey Bart have now alternated starts behind the dish for eight straight games, and it'll be Bart's turn to catch after Davis went 1-for-4 on Friday. Davis is slashing .170/.248/.280 in 204 plate appearances this season.

Marte is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Mariners.

Marte is on the bench for a third straight game, signaling that the Mets are still viewing him as a part-time player. Though Marte should continue to rank as the Mets' preferred choice at designated hitter against left-handed pitching, manager Carlos Mendoza looks content to rotate a number of players at the DH spot versus righties.

The Mets selected McLean's contract from Triple-A Syracuse ahead of Saturday's game against Seattle.

As expected, McLean will make his MLB debut Saturday, toeing the rubber as the Mets' starting pitcher. The 23-year-old has logged a 2.99 ERA and 97:38 K:BB in 87.1 innings for Syracuse this season. He's posted a 1.96 ERA and 26:9 K:BB across 23 innings spanning his last four appearances.
