Marte went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, four RBI and three runs scored in Sunday's 14-8 win over the Pirates.

Marte did most of his damage late, giving the Reds a 5-4 lead with an RBI double in the sixth inning before adding a three-run homer in the ninth. The converted outfielder has now recorded consecutive three-hit games for the first time this season, piling up five extra-base hits and five RBI in that span. For the year, he's slashing .287/.328/.509 with eight homers, 33 RBI, 26 runs scored and seven steals across 183 plate appearances.

Andujar went 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, three runs scored and a walk in Sunday's 14-8 win over the Pirates. He was also hit by a pitch.

Andujar capped a four-run third inning for Cincinatti with a three-run blast off Mike Burrows. Since returning from the injured list July 10, the 30-year-old has produced a .965 OPS with nine extra-base hits and 10 RBI over 21 games. For the year, he's quietly slashing .303/.343/.453 with seven homers, 30 RBI, 27 runs scored and one steal across 251 plate appearances between the Athletics and Reds.

Steer went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, four RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 14-8 win over the Pirates.

Steer fell a triple shy of the cycle, delivering a two-run double in the sixth inning and a two-run homer in the eighth. The 27-year-old has been streaky over his past 10 games, going hitless five times but still producing four multi-hit efforts, three home runs, 13 RBI and seven runs scored. For the year, he's slashing .241/.304/.398 with 14 long balls, 54 RBI, 49 runs scored and six steals across 431 plate appearances.

Burrows did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 14-8 loss to the Reds, allowing four runs on three hits and one walk with six strikeouts over five innings.

Burrows was undone by a four-run third inning, capped by a three-run homer from Miguel Andujar. He was otherwise sharp, tossing three perfect frames and generating 13 whiffs on just 74 pitches. The 25-year-old will take a 4.66 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 69:25 K:BB across 67.2 innings into a road matchup with the Cubs next weekend.

Littell did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 14-8 win over the Pirates, allowing four runs on nine hits and no walks with three strikeouts over 4.2 innings.

Littell opened with three scoreless innings before giving up four runs in the fourth and fifth. The 29-year-old threw 56 of 83 pitches for strikes but allowed 11 hard-hit balls and failed to complete five frames for just the second time this season. He'll take a 3.60 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 100:23 K:BB across 145 innings into a home matchup with the red-hot Brewers next weekend.

Atlanta manager Brian Snitker indicated after Saturday's doubleheader against the Marlins that Waldrep will remain in the big-league rotation, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports. "He was a first-round pick because he had arm strength and an out pitch with the split, but now he's pitching [well]," Snitker said. "He's mixing the curveball, the split's still a really good pitch for him, the sinker instead of [four-seamer]. He's not having to pitch at 98 [miles per hour] to be effective. His command's a lot better."

Atlanta is looking ahead to 2026, and Waldrep will get a prolonged audition in the majors as a result. The 2023 first-round pick has a 1.54 ERA and 10:3 K:BB over 11.2 innings with the big club in August, extending a hot streak that had seen the right-hander post a 1.99 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 36:16 K:BB across his last 40.2 innings at Triple-A Gwinnett. Assuming Atlanta elects to maintain a five-man rotation during the upcoming week, Erick Fedde or Carlos Carrasco will likely be pushed to the bullpen or off the roster entirely to accommodate Waldrep.

Pages went 1-for-3 with two walks and one stolen base in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Blue Jays.

Pages has hit safely in five straight games, going 7-for-20 (.350) in that span. He's also picked up three steals over his last seven contests, which has partially helped to make up for an ongoing 16-game homer drought. The outfielder has been steady enough at the plate to avoid losing playing time despite the drop in power. For the season, he has a .278/.320/.463 slash line, 19 homers, 11 steals, 68 RBI and 52 runs scored over 114 contests.

Freeman went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, two walks and three total RBI in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Blue Jays.

Freeman hit a go-ahead solo shot in the first inning before forcing in runs with bases-loaded walks in the second and eighth frames. The first baseman has hit safely in 10 of his last 12 games, going 18-for-45 (.400) with four homers and 14 RBI in that span. Overall, he has a .305/.378/.491 slash line with 14 long balls, 66 RBI, 57 runs scored and two stolen bases across 105 games this season. He's continued to provide steady contact despite a 22.6 percent strikeout rate that is his highest since 2016.

Ohtani went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, two walks and a stolen base in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Blue Jays.

Ohtani tied the game at 1-1 with his leadoff homer in the bottom of the first inning. He still hasn't been held hitless in August, going 16-for-35 (.457) with three homers, four RBI and four steals during his nine-game hitting streak to begin the month. He had multiple hits in all three games against Toronto. He's up to a .284/.388/.620 slash line with 41 long balls, 77 RBI, 111 runs scored and 17 steals through 116 games this season.

The Mets promoted Williams from Double-A Binghamton to Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday, Pat Ragazzo of SI.com reports.

Williams will move up to Triple-A after slashing .281/.390/.477 with 10 home runs and 32 stolen bases over 96 games with Binghamton this season. Regarded as one of the Mets' top prospects, the 21-year-old Williams likely won't be in the mix for anything more than a September call-up, but he could emerge as an everyday player for the big club at some point in 2026.
