Hunter Goodman C | COL
Rockies' Hunter Goodman: Lifts seventh homer in nightcap
Goodman went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 3-0 win over the Mets in Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader.
Goodman didn't feature in the matinee game, but he started and caught all nine innings in the nightcap. He also had the game's biggest hit when he took Kodai Senga deep in the third inning. Goodman has gone 12-for-41 (.293) with five homers and six RBI across his last 10 contests. Overall, he's batting .263 with an .887 OPS, seven homers, 11 RBI, 19 runs scored, six doubles and a stolen base over 26 contests. The catcher's steady power is nice, though it comes with some risk since he's striking out a 37.8 percent clip this year.

Zach Agnos RP | COL
Rockies' Zach Agnos: Collects second save
Agnos allowed a hit and didn't walk or strike out a batter over a scoreless inning to earn the save in a 3-0 win over the Mets in Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader.
Agnos got the opportunity for this save since Victor Vodnik worked a perfect frame to earn the save in the matinee game. This was the second save of the season for Agnos, who previously pitched 3.1 scoreless innings to close out the Rockies' win over the Astros on April 8. He's primarily worked as a multi-inning option this season, and he's allowed at least two runs in five of his nine appearances, so steady high-leverage usage doesn't seem likely. The right-hander sports a 5.71 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 16:7 K:BB over 17.1 innings.

Chase Dollander SP | COL
Rockies' Chase Dollander: Cruises to win in nightcap
Dollander (3-2) gave up five hits and two walks while striking out seven over seven shutout innings to earn the win in Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Mets.
This was Dollander's first start of the season, and he delivered his best outing yet. He's allowed one run or less over each of his last six games, five of which have been multi-inning performances. The right-hander appears to be fully stretched out after throwing 105 pitches (63 strikes) in this start, so it wouldn't be surprising to see him stick in the rotation. Over seven appearances spanning 32 innings, Dollander has a 2.25 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 39:9 K:BB this season. His next outing is projected to be a tough test at home against Atlanta.

Kodai Senga SP | NYM
Mets' Kodai Senga: Remains winless
Senga (0-4) took the loss in the second game of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Rockies. He allowed three runs on three hits and three walks while striking out one over 2.2 innings.
Senga was pulled in the third inning. He allowed a two-run home run to Hunter Goodman in that frame and put more traffic on the bases before Carl Edwards was brought in for mop-up duty. Senga landed 30 of 50 pitches for strikes in this outing, but he continues to struggle -- this was his third straight start that lasted less than four innings, and he's given up five homers in that span. For the season, he has a 9.00 ERA, 1.95 WHIP and 23:13 K:BB across 20 innings over five starts. Senga is tentatively projected to make his next start against the Angels, but it's unclear how much longer the Mets will tolerate his struggles on the mound, as it already looks like he's operating on a short leash.

Luis Campusano C | SD
Padres' Luis Campusano: Tallies two extra-base hits
Campusano went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and an additional RBI in Sunday's loss to the Diamondbacks.
Campusano drew the start behind the plate to wrap up the weekend in Mexico City, doubling and homering Sunday after slugging two doubles and a homer in his previous start Wednesday against the Rockies. After going hitless in 10 regular-season games at the big-league level in 2025, the 27-year-old has been on fire to begin 2026, slashing .350/.395/.750 with three homers, nine RBI and eight runs through 14 games. Freddy Fermin is the lead catcher and is more well regarded on the defensive side, but Campusano's continued success should earn him opportunities in the lineup.

Tyrone Taylor CF | NYM
Mets' Tyrone Taylor: Provides lone run in matinee loss
Taylor went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in a 3-1 loss to the Rockies in the first game of Sunday's doubleheader.
Taylor went deep off Jose Quintana in the fifth inning of the matinee game. This was Taylor's second homer of the season, though he entered Sunday just 4-for-19 (.211) over his previous nine games. The outfielder reverted to his usual recent form by going 0-for-3 in the nightcap, ending the day at .214/.233/.381 slash line with two homers, seven RBI, four runs scored and no stolen bases over 45 plate appearances. Taylor has started four of the last five games, two each in center field and right field, while Juan Soto remains limited to DH as he gets back up to speed following a calf strain. Once Soto is cleared to resume defensive duties, Taylor will likely return to a depth role.

Nolan McLean SP | NYM
Mets' Nolan McLean: Strikes out seven in loss
McLean (1-2) allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits and two walks while striking out seven over five-plus innings to take the loss in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Rockies.
McLean was charged with a single run in the fourth and sixth innings, though the second run on his line came after Huascar Brazoban allowed an inherited runner to score. This was tied for McLean's shortest start of the season, but he's yet to give up more than three runs in any of his six outings, and he's logged at least seven strikeouts on five occasions. He's at a 2.55 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 45:10 K:BB through 35.1 innings. McLean's next outing is projected to be on the road versus the Angels, though wins could remain tough to come by if the Mets don't give him better run support.

Victor Vodnik RP | COL
Rockies' Victor Vodnik: Earns save in Game 1 of twin bill
Vodnik struck out two in a perfect inning to earn the save in a 3-1 win over the Mets in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader.
Vodnik had allowed seven runs across his last 1.2 innings, so it was encouraging to see him pitch a clean frame Sunday. He has converted four of six save chances this season while pitching to a 6.94 ERA, 1.97 WHIP and 10:6 K:BB over 11.2 innings. Vodnik is operating as the Rockies' closer for now, but he can't afford to have too many more bad outings. Antonio Senzatela and Zach Agnos (two each) are the other relievers to log multiple saves so far for the Rockies this season, though both of them are capable of long-relief assignments and may not see steady late-inning work.

Manny Machado 3B | SD
Padres' Manny Machado: Blasts two homers in loss
Machado went 2-for-5 with two homers and five RBI in Sunday's 12-7 loss to the Diamondbacks.
Machado took advantage of the hitter-friendly backdrop at Estadio Alfredo Harp Helu, launching a two-run homer in the third inning before adding a three-run shot in the fifth frame, both off Ryne Nelson. Although the Padres ultimately lost, it was a much-needed offensive outburst for the third baseman, who entered Sunday's contest with a .615 OPS. The 33-year-old is now slashing .209/.327/.363 with four homers, 16 RBI and 15 runs through 26 games in 2026.

Jose Quintana SP | COL
Rockies' Jose Quintana: Picks up first win of season
Quintana (1-2) allowed one run on two hits and two walks while striking out five over 5.1 innings to earn the win in the first game of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Mets.
Quintana's start was pushed back a day by Saturday's rainout. He ended up having his best outing of the season, limiting the damage to a fifth-inning solo shot by Tyrone Taylor. While three of Quintana's four starts have come on the road, he still has an uninspiring 4.91 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 9:11 K:BB across 18.1 innings this season. That doesn't bode well for when he sees a steadier stretch of time at Coors Field. Quintana is tentatively projected for a brutal matchup at home against Atlanta in his next start.
