Gray (9-3) earned the win Tuesday against the Nationals, giving up two runs on five hits and one walk in five innings. He struck out six.

Gray was curiously lifted after tossing just 70 pitches in a solid performance. It's worth noting Tuesday's first pitch was delayed by about two hours due to rain, which might have altered St. Louis' plans in terms of Gray's workload. The Cardinals have been cautious with the veteran right-hander all year long, as Gray has hit the 90-pitch threshold only six times out of his 18 starts. That hasn't prevented him from delivering a steady 3.51 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 113:19 K:BB across 105 frames, though. His next appearance is set for this weekend at home versus an underperforming Atlanta team that has a .670 OPS since the start of June.

Irvin (7-4) took the loss Tuesday against the Cardinals, giving up four runs on six hits and four walks in six innings. He struck out three.

Limiting free passes remains an issue for Irvin, who walked at least three batters for the third straight start. The 28-year-old right-hander has recorded more than five strikeouts just once in his last eight outings, during which he has just two quality starts to go with a poor 6.96 ERA, 1.64 WHIP and 31:18 K:BB over 42.2 innings. Irvin doesn't set up as a particularly appealing streaming option in most formats this weekend in Milwaukee against the hot-hitting Brewers, who sport an .804 OPS over their last 18 games.

White went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 10-1 loss to the Athletics.

White got Atlanta on the board in the fifth inning. This was White's first homer since June 9 versus the Brewers, and his first hit of any kind since June 27 versus the Phillies. He sees most of his time against left-handed pitchers, but he's been unable to carve out even a firm short-side platoon role in Atlanta's outfield -- he was only in the lineup Tuesday because Ronald Acuna (back) was scratched just before the game. White is batting .242 with a .664 OPS, four homers, 17 RBI, 27 runs scored and five stolen bases over 189 plate appearances this season.

Fuentes (0-3) allowed eight runs on five hits and two walks while striking out two over one-plus inning to take the loss versus the Athletics on Tuesday.

Fuentes had his worst outing yet, allowing three home runs in the first inning as the Athletics stormed ahead 5-0. He loaded the bases in the second and was pulled from the game at 40 pitches (24 strikes), only for Jesse Chavez to allow all three inherited runners to score on a Nick Kurtz grand slam. Fuentes has allowed 20 runs over 13 innings in his four major-league starts, adding a 12:6 K:BB. He's struggled, but Atlanta's rotation has been pummeled by injuries. With the team far adrift of a wild-card spot, Atlanta may be more tolerant to let Fuentes learn on the job for the remainder of the season, or at least until Chris Sale (ribs), Reynaldo Lopez (shoulder) and Spencer Schwellenbach (elbow) are healthy.

Goodman went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run Tuesday against the Red Sox.

Goodman waited until the ninth inning to pop the home run, his 17th long ball of the season. He's been on a power surge, with 10 of his homers coming since the start of June in a span of 26 games. He's also hit .307 with 21 RBI and 20 runs scored in that timeframe.

Schwarber went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a double, a stolen base and a hit-by-pitch in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Giants.

Schwarber's seventh-inning homer put the Phillies ahead 3-1. Over his last 20 games, he's batting .288 (21-for-73) with six homers, four doubles, four steals and 13 RBI. The 32-year-old is having a fantastic year with a .254/.384/.549 slash line, 28 homers, 65 RBI, 64 runs scored, nine steals, 13 doubles and one triple over 92 contests. At his current pace, Schwarber could take a run at his career highs in homers (47) and RBI (104) by the end of the season.

Romano (1-4) allowed three runs on three hits in one inning, taking a blown save and the loss in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Giants.

Daniel Robert retired just one of three batters he faced in the eighth inning. Romano was able to clean up that mess, but he made one of his own in the ninth and couldn't escape it. Patrick Bailey knocked an inside-the-park home run after Romano allowed a double to Casey Schmitt and a single to Wilmer Flores. Romano has allowed seven runs over his last four outings, and this was his first save chance since he converted one May 29 versus Atlanta. He's struggled all year with a 7.44 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 36:14 K:BB over 32.2 innings, picking up eight saves, six holds and three blown saves. The Phillies' bullpen is a mess, but Romano's ongoing struggles likely mean Orion Kerkering and Matt Strahm will continue to get more save chances.

Walker allowed a run on two hits and two walks while striking out three over four innings in a no-decision Tuesday versus the Giants.

Walker struggled in the second inning, but he escaped with just one run on his ledger. This was his first start since May 30 -- he allowed five runs over 11 innings across nine relief appearances, going 1-1 with a hold and two blown saves during his time in the bullpen. Overall, Walker has a decent 3.55 ERA with a poor 1.30 WHIP and 49:24 K:BB through 58.1 innings over 20 appearances (nine starts) this season. It remains to be seen if he'll continue to function as a starter after the All-Star break.

Bailey went 2-for-4 with a three-run inside-the-park home run in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Phillies.

Bailey's blast was a clutch one, as he homered in the ninth inning. The deep fly ball bounced off the bricks in right field and caromed away from the fielders -- while officially a walk-off, Bailey had to hustle around the bases, making it more of a run-off in practice. It's just the second homer of the year for Bailey, who hadn't posted a multi-hit effort since June 18 versus the Guardians. The catcher is still batting just .194 with a .553 OPS, 26 RBI, 22 runs scored, 11 doubles and two triples over 72 contests this season.

Ray allowed a run on four hits and three walks while striking out five over 5.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Phillies on Tuesday.

Ray came up an out short of a quality start, but he was pulled at 99 pitches (63 strikes). He wasn't scored upon until the sixth inning, when he gave up an RBI double to Otto Kemp, which ended his start. Ray has allowed 11 runs (10 earned) over his last 31.2 innings as he continues to give the Giants a chance to win every time he's on the mound. He's given up no more than four runs in any start, and he's surrendered that many just three times all season. The southpaw is at a 2.63 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 122:42 K:BB across 113 innings through 19 starts.
