Hill (wrist) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Jacksonville on Thursday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Hill has been sidelined for the past month with a left wrist sprain but has been cleared to play in rehab games. He'll likely require just a handful of rehab at-bats, with a return for the start of the Marlins' homestand on Tuesday representing a possible target date for Hill's return.

Schmitt (wrist) will undergo a CT scan Thursday, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

X-rays on Schmitt's left wrist came back negative after he was hit by a pitch in Wednesday's game versus the Marlins, but he'll have additional testing to make sure he didn't suffer a fracture. Schmitt is not in the Giants' lineup Thursday, and the team could have more on his condition after the contest.

The Mets recalled Warren from Triple-A Syracuse on Thursday.

Warren made one scoreless appearance for the Mets in May and is back for another opportunity. The 29-year-old will provide manager Carlos Mendoza with a fresh bullpen arm.

The Mets optioned Pintaro to Triple-A Syracuse on Thursday.

Pintaro was roughed up for two runs while recording only two outs in his major-league debut Wednesday against Atlanta and finds himself back in the minors a day later. Austin Warren will absorb his spot on the roster and in the bullpen.

Wrobleski is expected to start or pitch in bulk relief during Sunday's game in Kansas City, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

The Dodgers are holding off naming a starter for the series finale against the Royals, likely because they're planning to use an opener in front of Wrobleski. The southpaw has fared much better in bulk relief than he has as a traditional starter, posting a 1.96 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 19:2 K:BB over 18.1 innings in the former role.

Hicks isn't in the lineup for Thursday's game versus San Francisco.

Hicks will get a chance to catch his breath Thursday after going 5-for-16 with an RBI and a run scored across his last five games. His absence will put Agustin Ramirez in the DH spot while Nick Fortes starts behind the plate.

The Dodgers optioned Klein to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday.

Klein pitched well during his brief time in the majors, tossing 3.2 scoreless frames with a 5:1 K:BB. However, he wasn't going to be available for a day or two after throwing two innings and 36 pitches Wednesday. Klein should get another chance later this season.

Bailey isn't in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Marlins, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Bailey will rest during Thursday's series finale after going 1-for-6 with an RBI and two strikeouts over the first two games of the series. Andrew Knizner will catch instead for starter Hayden Birdsong and bat ninth.

The Dodgers activated Garcia (adductor) from the 15-day injured list Thursday.

Garcia has been shelved since early June due to a right adductor strain, but he's ready to roll after making one scoreless rehab appearance. Will Klein was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move.
