Gray did not factor into the decision Saturday, allowing one run on five hits and two walks over five innings against Cincinnati. He struck out five.

The right-hander worked around traffic Saturday, limiting the damage to a single run on a Gavin Lux double play in the third inning. While Gray wasn't dominant, he showed marked improvement from his previous outing June 12, when he was tagged for six runs on eight hits and a walk over 4.1 innings against the Brewers. Overall, the veteran has put together a solid 2025 campaign, logging a 3.72 ERA and 1.19 WHIP across 84.2 innings through 15 starts.

McLain went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two runs scored in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Cardinals.

McLain continued his strong June, extending his hitting streak to nine games while notching his first three-hit performance of the season. The 25-year-old has struggled overall in 2025, slashing just .209/.302/.340 with 15 extra-base hits and 26 RBI through 68 games. However, he appears to be rounding into form and showing flashes of his 2023 self, when he posted a .290/.357/.507 line with 43 extra-base hits and 50 RBI in only 89 games.

Pagan blew the save Saturday against the Cardinals. He allowed one run on one hit with no walks while striking out four over 1.1 innings.

The right-hander entered for a four-out save after Tony Santillan gave up two runs in the eighth, but he blew the lead by allowing a solo homer to Nolan Arenado to open the ninth, his first blown save since May 6. Pagan has otherwise had a solid year as the Reds' closer, posting a 3.38 ERA and 0.88 WHIP over 32 innings and 32 appearances. That marks a notable improvement from his 2024 campaign, when he recorded a 4.50 ERA and 1.34 WHIP across 38 innings in 38 games.

De La Cruz went 2-for-5 with a triple and a two-run home run in Saturday's loss against the Cardinals.

De La Cruz was thrown out at home in the third inning while attempting to stretch a triple into an inside-the-park homer, but he made up for it with a towering blast in the seventh inning. The switch-hitting shortstop has been scorching hot in June, slashing .313/.413/.688 with 11 extra-base hits and 12 RBI over his last 18 games. He entered the month with a .763 OPS and has raised it to .838.

Pages went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's loss to the Nationals.

Pages struck out three times but made his one hit count, going yard in the fifth inning. The emerging young star has homered four times and racked up 10 RBI over his past seven games. Pages is up to 16 home runs and 52 RBI on the season, tying for 15th-most and 13th-most, respectively, in MLB in those categories.

Hernandez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run Saturday in a loss to the Nationals.

Hernandez belted a 350-foot homer in the ninth inning, but it wasn't enough to bring the Dodgers back for a win. The long ball was the veteran outfielder's first since he went deep in three consecutive games June 11-14. Since that three-game stretch he's mostly struggled, batting .231 with a 32.1 percent strikeout rate over seven contests.

Martinez threw two perfect innings with no strikeouts Saturday against the Cardinals.

The right-hander followed opener Brent Suter -- who gave up two runs over two innings -- as the second arm in a bullpen game. Martinez had started in his first 15 appearances this season, but after failing to escape the third inning in his last outing Thursday, the Reds opted to shift him to a relief role. The veteran has struggled since the start of June, posting a 7.52 ERA and 1.67 WHIP over 20.1 innings.

Lowe went 2-for-5 with two solo home runs Saturday in a 7-3 win over the Dodgers.

Lowe homered to left field in the sixth inning and added a second shot to center field in the eighth. This was the first time on the campaign that the first baseman has gone deep multiple times, and Lowe recorded just his second multi-hit effort across his past 12 contests. He's up to 12 home runs and 47 RBI this season, though he's still slashing a modest .227/.295/.395 through 319 plate appearances.

May (4-5) took the loss against Washington on Saturday, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out five batters over six innings.

May got through three scoreless frames before James Wood and Luis Garcia Jr. tagged him for back-to-back solo homers in the fourth. Nathaniel Lowe tacked on another solo homer in the sixth, and the Dodgers were unable to provide enough offense to take the righty hurler off the hook. May did manage to notch a quality start -- his second straight and his seventh of the season -- so the end result wasn't a complete disaster. His next matchup is expected to be a road matchup versus Kansas City.

Irvin (6-3) earned the win over the Dodgers on Saturday, allowing two runs on six hits and no walks while striking out seven batters over 5.1 innings.

Irvin served up a pair of solo home runs, but he otherwise managed to keep Los Angeles from scoring. The right-hander picked up his first victory over his past four starts and reached seven strikeouts for the fourth time through 16 starts on the campaign. Irvin has been far from dominant this year, but he's surrendered three or fewer earned runs in 11 of his 16 appearances. He's projected for a road matchup against the Angels in his next start.
