Steer will stay put in the dugout during the second half of Saturday's festivities after going 0-for-2 with a walk in Game 1. His absence will afford Nathaniel Lowe another start at first base.

After going 0-for-3 with a strikeout during a 9-1 loss in Game 1, Stephenson will move to the bench for Game 2 while P.J. Higgins starts behind the plate.

Mitchell was taken out of Wednesday's game against the Cubs due to back tightness, and Saturday will be the second game in a row he's missed. The Brewers haven't indicated the speedy outfielder will need a trip to the injured list, though that could become an option if he doesn't return soon. Milwaukee will start Jake Bauers, Jackson Chourio and Sal Frelick across the outfield Saturday.

Rengifo isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Dodgers.

Rengifo will grab a seat on the bench Saturday after going 1-for-4 during Friday's series opener. His absence will move David Hamilton over to third base while Joey Ortiz starts at shortstop.

Contreras isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Dodgers.

Contreras has logged a base hit in each of his last seven games and has four multi-hit efforts in his last five. He'll get a chance to catch his breath Saturday while Gary Sanchez starts behind the plate, batting fifth.

Paddack (0-6) took the loss against the Cardinals in Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader, allowing three runs on seven hits and three walks with five strikeouts over five innings.

Paddack generated a solid 12 whiffs on 84 pitches, but he failed to register a clean inning and yielded three runs across the third and fourth. In two starts with the Reds, the 30-year-old has allowed five earned runs through 10 frames. He owns a 6.86 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 35:14 K:BB across 40.2 innings, including seven outings with Miami, and lines up for a home matchup against Atlanta next weekend.

Muncy (wrist) isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Brewers.

Manager Dave Roberts said after Friday's loss that Muncy will likely sit out the remainder of the Dodgers' series against the Brewers after getting hit on the wrist by a pitch. The 35-year-old wasn't likely to play Saturday anyway, with southpaw Robert Gasser set to take the mound for Milwaukee. Santiago Espinal will man the hot corner and bat ninth.

Pallante (5-4) earned the win against the Reds in Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader, allowing one run on two hits and one walk with three strikeouts over six innings.

Pallante allowed a solo homer in the second inning but was otherwise stellar, throwing 60 of 93 pitches for strikes while retiring the final 13 batters he faced. The 27-year-old has now logged back-to-back quality starts, and he's completed at least five frames in each of his 10 outings this season. He'll carry a 3.76 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 43:20 K:BB across 55 innings into a home matchup against the Cubs next weekend.

Young isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Atlanta.

Young will retreat to the dugout Saturday after going 3-for-10 with a two-run homer across his last three starts. Daylen Lile, Dylan Crews and James Wood will form the Nationals' outfield trio while Young sits.

Kim isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Washington.

Kim has notched a base hit and scored a run in each of his last three games, but he'll take a seat on the bench Saturday while Mauricio Dubon starts at shortstop, batting seventh.
