Bader went 2-for-4 with a grand slam in Saturday's 10-3 win over the White Sox.

The center fielder broke the game open when he took Jordan Leasure deep in the fifth inning. It was Bader's fifth homer of the season and fourth in 10 games since being activated from the IL in mid-May after recovering from a hamstring strain. Over that stretch, he's batting .263 (10-for-38) with three doubles, six runs and 10 RBI.

Petty allowed four runs on six hits and one walk while striking out one over five innings in a no-decision against the Cardinals in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader.

Making a spot start, Petty allowed a run in the second inning before surrendering a three-run homer to Jordan Walker in the sixth. He threw 40 of 62 pitches for strikes but induced only three whiffs while yielding 10 hard-hit balls. The 23-year-old has now allowed seven earned runs across 10.2 frames with the Reds while recording just two strikeouts. He'll likely return to Triple-A Louisville following Saturday's contest.

Houser didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 10-3 win over the White Sox, giving up three runs on seven hits over 4.2 innings. He struck out five without walking a batter.

The veteran right-hander got handed a 3-0 lead in the fourth inning, but Houser immediately gave it right back in the top of the fifth and got the hook after 79 pitches (55 strikes), taking him out of the equation for the win when the Giants broke the game open in the bottom of the frame. Houser has allowed three runs or fewer in five straight starts, posting a 3.33 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 17:11 K:BB over 27 innings during that stretch. He'll look to keep that momentum going in his next outing, which is set to come on the road next weekend in Colorado.

Leahy allowed five runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out eight over five innings in a no-decision against the Reds in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader.

Leahy notched a season-high eight strikeouts and cruised through four scoreless innings before unraveling in a five-run fifth inning that saw him allow two home runs. It snapped a solid stretch to open May for the 28-year-old, who entered the contest having allowed just two earned runs across 16.1 frames during the month. He'll carry a 4.44 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 42:22 K:BB over 50.2 innings this season into a home matchup against the Cubs next weekend.

Walker went 4-for-9 with two home runs, a double, a walk, seven RBI and three total runs across both games of Saturday's doubleheader against the Reds.

Walker homered in each game, with the long balls accounting for five of his seven RBI on the day. It continued a ridiculous month of May for the 23-year-old, who's hitting .329 with 13 extra-base hits and 19 RBI through 20 games this month. For the year, he ranks third in the majors with a .966 OPS to go along with 15 home runs, 42 RBI, 37 runs scored and seven steals across 215 plate appearances.

Freeman went 1-for-1 with a double, four walks, three runs scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 11-3 win over the Brewers.

Freeman was a thorn in the Brewers' side all game, reaching base in all five plate appearances while drawing a season-high four walks. He's now swiped both of his bases this season over his past nine games, a stretch that includes five hitless efforts but also five extra-base hits and seven runs scored. For the season, the first baseman is slashing .265/.362/.449 with six homers, 23 RBI, 22 runs scored and two steals across 213 plate appearances.

Hernandez went 3-for-4 with a home run, a walk and six total RBI in Saturday's 11-3 win over the Brewers.

Hernandez tied a career high with six RBI, giving the Dodgers the lead with a three-run blast in the fourth inning before adding three more on singles in the eighth and ninth. The 33-year-old has been scorching hot over his past 10 games, hitting safely in nine of them while tallying three homers, 14 RBI and nine runs scored. On the year, he's slashing .276/.349/.447 with seven long balls, 31 RBI, 28 runs scored and one steal across 192 plate appearances.

Gasser (0-1) took the loss against the Dodgers on Saturday, allowing four runs on four hits and four walks with four strikeouts over 4.1 innings.

Gasser was spotted an early 3-0 lead but gave it away during a four-run fourth inning that included a three-run homer by Teoscar Hernandez. In two starts with the Brewers, the southpaw has surrendered six earned runs across 8.1 frames while posting a 7:6 K:BB and hitting three batters. If given another chance in the rotation, he'd line up for a road matchup against the Astros next weekend.

Sasaki (3-3) earned the win against the Brewers on Saturday, allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits and two walks with four strikeouts over five innings.

Sasaki allowed three runs in the first inning but rebounded with four scoreless frames, throwing 56 of 87 pitches for strikes while generating nine whiffs. It continued an encouraging month of May for the 24-year-old, who has now yielded three earned runs or fewer in each of his four outings this month, lowering his season ERA from 6.35 to 4.93 during that stretch. He'll carry a 1.42 WHIP and 43:18 K:BB, along with the aforementioned ERA, across 45.2 innings this season into a home matchup against the Phillies next weekend.

Gurriel's hamstring injury is believed to be fairly minor, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports. Manager Torey Lovullo said Saturday the hope is Gurriel will be able to return from the injured list when first eligible.

Gurriel injured his hamstring while sliding to make a catch in the outfield Friday, leading to his placement on the 10-day IL. It sounds like both the player and team expect him back when he's first eligible to return on June 2, but in the meantime Tommy Troy will get a look in left field for the Diamondbacks.
