Carroll batted leadoff and went 1-for-3 in Saturday's spring game against San Francisco.

Carroll made his second Cactus League start, both coming as the designated hitter, following a one-month recovery from surgery to repair a broken hamate bone in his right hand. Arizona manager Torey Lovullo said the outfielder will likely serve as the DH for Sunday's game, too, according to Bailey Leasure of Arizona Sports. Carroll is expected to get as many plate appearances as possible leading up to Opening Day.

Fischer went 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI for the Italian team in Saturday's WBC game.

Fischer has not seen action above the High-A level since being selected by the Brewers in the first round of the 2025 MLB Draft, but he just missed a grand slam in Saturday's contest and owns a 1.235 OPS in the WBC. He is already one of the top prospects in baseball and will turn 22 years old in May, so he could rise rapidly through Milwaukee's system.

Zerpa tossed a scoreless seventh inning for the Venezuelan team in Saturday's WBC game.

Zerpa did not allow a baserunner in the outing and struck out two batters -- one of them being Shohei Ohtani. He has not allowed a run this spring -- either for the Brewers or Team Venezuela -- and figures to fill a key role in Milwaukee's bullpen when the regular season gets underway.

Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol said Sunday that Dobbins (knee) will begin the season on the injured list, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

The right-hander continues to work his way back from ACL surgery last July, and he needs a bit more time before being fully cleared for game action. Dobbins built up to five innings while throwing on the back fields Saturday, but he still has some work to do in regard to fielding his position. The 26-year-old may not require a lengthy absence to begin the season, but he's also not guaranteed to join the big-league club once fully healthy.

Hamilton went 1-for-3 with a home run and four RBI in Saturday's spring game against the Rockies.

Hamilton started at third base in Saturday's contest and hit his first long ball of the spring. He has seen time at the hot corner and shortstop during the exhibition season and can play second base as well, so he figures to fill a utility role for the Brewers. Hamilton has elite stolen-base potential, but the lack of a regular role puts a limit on his fantasy upside.

The Reds reassigned Antone to minor-league camp Sunday.

Antone owns a 2.47 ERA and 1.00 WHIP over 76.2 innings in parts of four seasons in the majors with Cincinnati, but he spent the entire 2025 campaign in the minors after completing his recovery from the third elbow surgery of his career, and the 32-year-old right-hander struggled at Double-A Chattanooga and Triple-A Louisville. While his numbers in the Cactus League this spring (7.94 ERA, 1.94 WHIP and 7:4 K:BB in 5.2 innings) weren't anything special, Charlie Goldsmith of Fox 19 Now Cincinnati notes that Antone's velocity was up from 2025. He'll still need to translate those velocity gains into better results at Triple-A before earning another look in the majors.

Vientos went 0-for-4 with a strikeout in Saturday's Grapefruit League game against the Astros.

Getting the start at first base and batting second, Vientos wasn't able to catch up to a 95.3 mph fastball from Ryan Weiss in the fourth inning, striking out on a foul tip into Carlos Perez's glove. The Mets are still hoping Vientos can rebound from a tough 2025 and become a key part of the offense, but he's batting a miserable .048 (1-for-21) this spring with a 0:4 BB:K. Given his defensive limitations, if the 26-year-old isn't contributing with his bat, his playing time could dwindle quickly once the regular season begins in favor of other young players like Brett Baty or Ronny Mauricio.

Peralta allowed one run on one hit and one walk over four innings in Saturday's Grapefruit League game against the Astros. He struck out six.

Facing a Houston lineup headlined by Yordan Alvarez and Carlos Correa, Peralta fired 39 of 56 pitches for strikes as he continues to build up ahead of his first Opening Day assignment for the Mets. The right-hander has a 2.70 ERA and 12:2 K:BB through 10 spring innings.

Fairbanks struck out one in a perfect inning Saturday during a split-squad game against the Cardinals.

The right-hander has yet to allow a run over four innings this spring with a 6:1 K:BB. Signed to a one-year, $13 million contract in December, Fairbanks is set to be the Marlins' unquestioned closer this season after averaging 25 saves over the last three years for the Rays with a 2.98 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 10.2 K/9 in 151 innings.

Stowers went 0-for-2 with a walk and a run scored in Saturday's split-squad spring game against the Cardinals.

Getting the start in left field and hitting leadoff in his return to game action, Stowers didn't appear to be slowed down by the hamstring issue that cropped up in late February. The 28-year-old went first to third in the third inning on a Xavier Edwards single after drawing his free pass with two outs before coming home on a Connor Norby knock. Stowers should still have enough to time to get ready for Opening Day as he looks to build on a breakout 2025 campaign that saw him slash .288/.368/.544 with 25 homers in 117 games.
