The Phillies promoted Wood from Single-A Clearwater to Double-A Reading on Monday, Jonathan Mayo of MLB.com reports.

Wood will skip over an assignment to the Phillies' South Atlantic League affiliate in Jersey Shore and move into the rotation at Reading after an excellent run with Clearwater to begin the season. Over eight starts in the Florida State League, Wood, the No. 26 overall pick of the 2025 First-Year Player Draft, submitted a 3.42 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 40:12 K:BB across 26.1 innings.

Young (knee) will move his rehab assignment from Single-A St. Lucie to Triple-A Syracuse this week, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Young played two games in the Florida State League over the weekend, going 1-for-6 with a walk and a run scored while playing six total innings in the field at first base. The 30-year-old Young -- who is making his way back from mid-April surgery to address minor meniscus tear in his left knee -- could push for playing time at first base, designated hitter or in the corner outfield once the Mets bring him back from the 10-day injured list.

Senga (back) threw a multi-inning live-batting practice session Sunday, MLB.com reports.

Senga flew to the Mets' facility in Florida to take the next step forward in his recovery process for lumbar spine inflammation, which sent him to the injured list April 28. According to the report, Senga won't advance to game action "until his pitch metrics are in the place that he wants," so he may be more than a week away from beginning a minor-league rehab assignment. Senga had struggled to a 9.00 ERA and 1.95 WHIP over 20 innings in his five starts with the Mets prior to landing on the shelf.

The Mets "have hope" that Lindor (calf) will return to the active roster in about a month, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.

An MRI last week showed that Lindor's left calf strain is healing, but not yet to the point that he has been cleared for baseball activities. The star shortstop has already been sidelined for nearly one month of action, and he still has approximately one more month to go. New York has been utilizing Bo Bichette at shortstop and Brett Baty at third base of late while Lindor remains shelved.

Hentges picked up a hold and struck out two in a scoreless inning during Sunday's 10-1 win over the Athletics.

Hentges entered in the seventh inning and required just 10 pitches to get through the frame, throwing seven for strikes. After undergoing shoulder surgery in September 2024 and knee surgery in August 2025, the 29-year-old southpaw returned to big-league action May 10. He has turned in four scoreless outings this season, allowing one hit and three walks while striking out five in 3.1 innings.

Chapman went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a walk, a run scored and an RBI in Sunday's 10-1 win over the Athletics.

Chapman hit an RBI double in the third inning, drew an intentional walk in the eighth before coming around to score and added another two-bagger in the ninth. He recorded his first multi-hit performance since May 10, when he tallied two doubles against the Pirates. The veteran third baseman has struggled in May, slashing .123/.180/.211 with five doubles, four RBI, a run scored and a 32.8 percent strikeout rate across 61 plate appearances on the month.

Young went 1-for-2 with a walk and a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Orioles.

The center fielder went yard for the second straight game, this time by lofting a Brandon Young fastball down the left-field line in the second inning. The Nationals' Young came into the season with five career homers in 303 MLB games, but he's doubled that total in just 26 contests in 2026, slashing .224/.275/.353 with five doubles, two steals, 21 runs and 21 RBI.

Beeter (forearm) threw a scoreless inning for Triple-A Rochester on Saturday, allowing one hit and striking out one.

Per Spencer Nusbaum of The Athletic, Beeter will make one more rehab appearance Tuesday before potentially being activated from the IL. The right-hander should slot right back into the Nationals' unsettled high-leverage mix once he returns after posting a 3.48 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 9:8 K:BB over 10.1 innings to begin the season with one win, two holds and two saves in 10 appearances. Beeter's been sidelined since April 21 due to forearm soreness.

Williams (3-1) picked up the win Sunday against the Yankees, walking one and striking out one in a scoreless and hitless 10th inning.

The Mets' closer left phantom runner Ryan McMahon stranded by coaxing a double play out of Austin Wells, then got rewarded with the victory when Carson Benge brought home the winning run with a fielder's choice chopper up the middle. Williams hasn't been tagged with a run in nine straight appearances, posting a 11:2 K:BB and allowing only one hit in 8.2 innings over that stretch while collecting two wins and four saves.

Ewing went 1-for-1 with three walks, a run scored and a stolen base in Sunday's win over the Yankees.

While the rookie was hitting eighth in the order, Ewing displayed his top-of-the-order skills in just his sixth MLB game. Through his first 25 plate appearances with the Mets, the 21-year-old is batting .294 (5-for-17) with a triple, a homer, two steals in three attempts, three RBI and five runs, and he has more walks (seven) than strikeouts (five).
