Oviedo (2-1) allowed two runs on three hits and three walks while striking out three over five innings to take the loss Sunday versus Atlanta.

Oviedo gave up a two-run home run to Ronald Acuna in the first inning, and that was ultimately enough to prevent the right-hander from staying undefeated this season. He was rarely bad but also failed to stand out in his nine starts, walking exactly three batters on seven occasions while failing to complete six frames in any outing. Overall, he finished with a 3.57 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 42:23 K:BB over 40.1 innings, which is a fine performance after returning from a December 2023 Tommy John surgery.

Scott went 2-for-3 with a double and a stolen base in Sunday's 2-0 loss to the Cubs.

Scott finished the season 10th in the majors in steals after picking up his 34th pilfer of the year Sunday. This was also his first multi-hit effort since July 11 -- the outfielder hit a pathetic .171 after the All-Star break, dropping his season average to .216 across 138 games. Scott added a .601 OPS, five home runs, 37 RBI, 54 runs scored, 15 doubles and one triple in 463 plate appearances in his first full major-league season.

Leahy allowed a hit and struck out one without walking a batter over three scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the Cubs on Sunday.

Leahy started the bullpen game and had the most innings pitched of the five pitchers the Cardinals used in their season finale. This was a fine first career start, and the right-hander ended the season on a seven-inning scoreless streak. Overall, he pitched to a 3.07 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 80:28 K:BB across 88 innings across 62 appearances, adding a 4-2 record, one save, 18 holds and four blown saves as a multi-inning reliever. He could be a contender for the rotation in 2026, but Leahy hasn't regularly worked as a starter since 2022.

Suzuki went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 2-0 win over the Cardinals.

Suzuki ended the regular season by going deep in four straight games, totaling five homers in that span. He also hit safely in seven consecutive contests, going 8-for-26 (.308) in that span. He traded some contact for power this year, finishing the regular season with a .245/.326/.478 slash line, 32 homers, 103 RBI, 75 runs scored and five stolen bases over 151 contests.

Wicks allowed three hits and struck out four without walking a batter over three shutout innings to earn the save in Sunday's 2-0 win over the Cardinals.

Wicks' long-relief performance ensured the Cubs' bullpen would be well-rested heading into the wild-card round. Wicks has kept runs off the board in three of his last four outings dating back to Aug. 26, though his struggles in limited action earlier in the year led to him finishing the regular season with a 6.28 ERA, 1.74 WHIP and 13:2 K:BB over 14.1 innings across eight relief appearances. It's unclear if he'll earn a spot on the Cubs' wild-card roster.

Assad (4-1) allowed three hits and one walk while striking out six over 5.1 shutout innings to earn the win Sunday over the Cardinals.

Assad closed out the regular season by winning four of his last five outings, one of which was a relief appearance. In that span, he gave up nine runs across 23 innings with a 14:9 K:BB. The right-hander has a 3.65 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 23:12 K:BB across 37 innings through eight appearances (seven starts) this season. His 79-pitch outing Sunday will likely keep him off the Cubs' roster for the wild-card round versus the Padres, but Assad could be included in the bullpen if Chicago advances to the NLDS.

Megill (6-3) picked up the win in Sunday's contest against Cincinnati, pitching a clean inning with two strikeouts.

The Milwaukee right-hander was activated from the injured list prior to this game after being out since Aug. 27 due to a right elbow issue. Megill saw action in the fourth inning, retiring all three batters he faced succinctly on 12 pitches. Abner Uribe, who filled in as closer while Megill he was out, tallied the save later in the contest, as it remains to be seen how the Brewers will leverage their stalwart relievers throughout the playoffs. Megill wraps his regular season with a 2.49 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 60:17 K:BB across 47 total frames while converting 30 of 36 save chances and appearing in his first All-Star game.

Uribe pitched a clean inning with no strikeouts to pick up the save in Sunday's 4-2 victory over the Reds.

The Milwaukee flamethrower required only eight pitches, five of which were strikes, to secure his team's 97th win. Even with Trevor Megill (elbow) being activated earlier in the day, Uribe was called upon for this save because Megill handled the fourth inning and picked up the win. Uribe closes out his regular season with a 1.67 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 90:27 K:BB across 75.1 total innings.

Kershaw (11-2) earned the win in Sunday's 6-1 win over Seattle, striking out seven and allowing four hits and one walk over 5.1 scoreless innings.

The future Hall of Famer dazzled in his last regular-season start, generating 16 whiffs out of his 94 total pitches to stymy the division-winning Mariners. The only extra-base hit Kershaw allowed was a Miles Mastrobuoni double in the third inning. The star southpaw wraps his final regular season with a 3.36 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 84:35 K:BB across 112.2 total innings. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts confirmed prior to Sunday's game that because Kershaw was making a normal start in the regular-season finale, the southpaw wouldn't be available for the team's three-game wild-card series with the Reds, per Andrew Destin of the Associated Press. Kershaw could still be included on the roster for the NLDS if the Dodgers are able to advance past the wild-card round.

Ohtani went 3-for-5 with a solo homer, a double and an additional run scored in Sunday's 6-1 victory over the Mariners.

The Japanese superstar broke his own Dodgers single-season homer mark with his 55th long ball. Ohtani cracked a 412-foot solo shot off Seattle southpaw Gabe Speier in the seventh to make history. The 31-year-old wraps another incredible regular season at the plate, slashing .282/.392/.623 with 20 steals, 146 runs scored and 102 RBI over 726 plate appearances.
