Singer will look to further improve his 4.66 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 104:42 K:BB across 125.2 frames for the season in his next scheduled appearance against the Cardinals.

House went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Mets.

House came up clutch, launching a three-run blast to give the Nationals a 4-2 lead in the sixth inning. The 23-year-old has now hit safely in five straight games, posting a .761 OPS over 18 games since rejoining the Nationals on July 26. Benge was a pest all game, with the highlight being a solo shot in the sixth inning. It continued a stellar second half for the rookie, who's hitting .319 with eight extra-base hits, 12 RBI, 11 runs scored and three stolen bases through 24 games since the All-Star break. On the year, he's slashing .275/.338/.419 with 14 homers, 49 RBI, 63 runs scored and 18 steals across 488 plate appearances.

Turner left Saturday's game against the Twins early after fouling a pitch off his right knee, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

After fouling a ball off his right knee, Turner was removed in the eighth inning, though with the Phillies leading 8-1 at the time, it's possible they were being extra cautious with the 33-year-old as he battled some pain. Dion did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Mets, allowing one walk while striking out seven over 4.1 hitless and scoreless innings.

Dion entered with two outs in the first inning and dominated the Mets, throwing 41 of 64 pitches for strikes with 11 whiffs. The southpaw has thrived with his new club, firing eight scoreless frames and picking up one win in three appearances since debuting with Washington on Aug. 5. For the year, he owns a 3.25 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 33:5 K:BB across 27.2 innings between the Guardians and Nationals.

Cruz (0-1) blew a save and took the loss against the Mets on Saturday, allowing two runs on three hits and one walk with one strikeout while recording one out in the ninth inning.

He allowed the first three batters he faced to reach base before ultimately surrendering a walk-off single to Francisco Lindor. Lorenzen (3-11) took the loss against the Giants on Saturday, allowing six runs on four hits and three walks with one strikeout over 3.2 innings.

Lorenzen entered the fourth in a 1-1 tie before things unraveled, as he was unable to complete the inning and was ultimately charged with five more runs. The 34-year-old has endured a nightmare second half, posting an 11.57 ERA through five starts since the All-Star break while failing to complete five frames in any of them. He'll take a bloated 7.08 ERA, 1.88 WHIP and 82:49 K:BB across 115.2 innings this season into a home matchup with the Guardians next weekend.

Gilbert went 3-for-4 with a home run, a walk, three RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 7-1 win over the Rockies.

Gilbert set the tone from the leadoff spot, launching a solo shot in the third inning before adding a two-run single in the fourth. While it's a small sample, the 24-year-old has tallied three extra-base hits and driven in seven runs over his past five games. On the season, he's slashing .243/.330/.376 with six homers, 28 RBI, 34 runs scored and a stolen base across 293 plate appearances.

Webb was removed from Saturday's game against Colorado due to back/shoulder tightness, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Webb needed just 80 pitches to make it through six innings Saturday, giving up one run on four hits and zero walks while punching out seven batters. However, he began to feel tightness around his shoulder after getting struck by a comebacker in the fifth inning, so the Giants took him out of the game as a precaution. He's tentatively scheduled to make his next start in Boston next week, but the team will likely monitor his injury over the next few days before confirming his availability.
