The Mets optioned Warren to Triple-A Syracuse on Monday.

Warren was the 27th man during Sunday's doubleheader against the Rockies and tossed two scoreless frames in the first contest. He's fared well during his brief time with the big club this season, yielding only one run with a 5:0 K:BB in 3.2 innings, but Warren will report back to Syracuse and wait for another opportunity in the majors.

The Diamondbacks optioned Valdez to Triple-A Reno on Monday.

Valdez served as the 27th man during the Mexico City Series versus the Padres over the weekend, but he did not make an appearance. The 28-year-old has hit only .211/.375/.263 in limited time between Double-A Amarillo and Reno in 2026.

The Padres optioned Song to Triple-A El Paso on Monday.

Song was up with the big club as its 27th man during the Mexico City Series against the Diamondbacks over the weekend. He made his major-league debut as a pinch runner during Sunday's 12-7 loss but didn't receive a plate appearance. Song returns to El Paso, where he's slashed .293/.369/.320 in 20 games.

Lodolo (finger) allowed two hits and struck out seven over five scoreless innings for High-A Dayton on Sunday.

Lodolo, who's been on the 15-day injured list since Opening Day due to a blister, kicked off a second rehab assignment Sunday. The left-hander was sharp, throwing 39 strikes among his 51 pitches. His first rehab was cut short when the blister resurfaced as he tried to throw a slider during a start for Dayton on April 2, per Mark Sheldon of MLB.com. There was no data or reporting on how many sliders Lodolo used Sunday.

Arenado went 2-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's 12-7 win over the Padres.

Arenado extended a hit streak to five games and recorded his seventh multi-hit game over the last 11 contests. He's gone 17-for-41 (.415) during that stretch with four home runs, 11 RBI and 10 runs scored. The 35-year-old third baseman has turned around a season that started with a .167 average and two RBI over the first 13 games.

Moreno (oblique) is expected to rejoin the Diamondbacks during the series against the Cubs that begins Friday, Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports.

The most recent news had Moreno returning Tuesday for the series against the Brewers, but it's been pushed back until at least Friday. The Diamondbacks are getting by with backups behind the plate, but Adrian Del Castillo (finger) is day-to-day after being removed from Sunday's game. James McCann and Aramis Garcia are still on the 26-man roster to carry the catching load until Moreno and/or Del Castillo are ready.

Betts (oblique) could kick off a minor-league rehab assignment as soon as the weekend of May 1-3, per MLB.com.

Betts has been sidelined since early April due to a right oblique strain. The star shortstop resumed swinging a bat about two weeks later and has continued to take batting practice in the cage. Manager Dave Roberts said Friday that Betts is in line to start a rehab stint either during the coming weekend or the following week, so a return to the big-league roster during the first half of May appears to be feasible.

Edman (ankle) has been facing live pitching but is still doing only straight-line running, per MLB.com.

Edman continues to rehab from the right ankle surgery he underwent last November. The utility man began taking live at-bats in mid-April and has continued to do so, but the organization is having him build up his running progression slowly. Edman isn't likely to be activated from the injured list until at least late May.

Wagner (oblique) has been participating in extended spring-training games at the Padres' complex in Arizona, per MLB.com.

Wagner suffered a strained right oblique in early March after appearing in just five Cactus League contests. He seems to be showing improvement but hasn't yet set out on a rehab assignment. It's unclear if there will be room for Wagner on the big-league roster when he's back to full health.

Matsui (groin) may be nearing activation from the 15-day injured list, per MLB.com.

Matsui didn't get to participate in any spring contests, so San Diego has elected to keep him on his rehab assignment for an extended period. The lefty reliever has made nine rehab appearances with Triple-A El Paso, posting a 3.72 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 12:1 K:BB over 9.2 innings. Matsui's activation from the IL could be coming soon, though he may not be thrust into high-leverage work right away.
