The Rangers placed Martin on the 15-day injured list Sunday due to a right shoulder impingement.

It's unclear when Martin sustained the injury, but he's been struggling of late with seven runs allowed in four outings since returning in early July from a prior shoulder issue. The veteran right-hander will be eligible to be reinstated in late July.

Cortes is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.

Cortes will be left on the bench for the third time in four games, with two absences coming against lefty starters and one coming against a righty. After a rough June, Cortes has rebounded to begin July, recording six hits in 18 at-bats to go with a 1:4 BB:K over six games. He should have a pathway to at least a part-time role against right-handed pitching after the Athletics recently sent two key everyday players in Nick Kurtz (thumb) and Zack Gelof (knee) to the injured list.

Soderstrom is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.

Soderstrom will be held out of the lineup against southpaw Noah Schultz after going 1-for-6 with a solo home run and a walk while starting the first two games in Chicago. Colby Thomas will spell Soderstrom in left field and bat fifth Sunday.

McNeil is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.

McNeil was included in the lineup for the first two games of the series against right-handed pitching, going 0-for-5 to bring his batting average down to .226. With Nick Kurtz (thumb) and Zack Gelof (knee) recently landing back on the injured list, McNeil looks like he might still have a path to regular playing time against righties. However, McNeil will take a seat Sunday against southpaw Noah Schultz.

Rivero (hand) has been catching at the Angels' spring complex in Arizona, MLB.com reports.

Rivero was placed on the 10-day IL on June 10 due to a left hamate fracture. He was given an original return timeline of four weeks, but it appears he'll need a little more time than that. Rivero could be activated shortly after the All-Star break, though it's unclear if he'll still have a spot on the big-league roster since the Angels traded for Tyler Heineman following Rivero's injury and have Travis d'Arnaud (foot) potentially returning by the end of the month as well.

The Giants optioned Bivens to Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Bivens was called up by the Giants last weekend and appeared in two games during his week in the majors, giving up two unearned runs on three hits with a 3:1 K:BB over two innings. Jason Foley (shoulder) was reinstated from the injured list to fill out San Francisco's bullpen.

Raley is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

With southpaw Ian Seymour on the bump for the Rays, the left-handed-hitting Raley will take a seat for the first time since June 30. Weston Wilson will get the nod in right field in place of Raley, who went 5-for-30 with a 0:11 BB:K while starting the Mariners' first nine games of the month.

Hernandez will start in left field and bat second in Sunday's game against the Guardians.

The Marlins will keep Hernandez in the starting nine for a fifth straight game after he went 3-for-13 with a solo home run, two doubles and two walks over his previous four starts. The 26-year-old should get the chance to hold down an everyday role between the corner outfield and designated hitter while Owen Caissie (calf) is on the shelf.

D'Arnaud (foot) caught Yusei Kikuchi's bullpen session July 5 and progressed to running the bases July 10, MLB.com reports.

D'Arnaud had already been swinging a bat and throwing, but the advancement to running the bases is a big step in his recovery from plantar fasciitis in his right foot. If the veteran backstop continues to make steady progress, he could be activated from the 60-day IL by the end of July. In the meantime, Tyler Heineman will remain the backup catcher to Logan O'Hoppe.

Marsee is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.

Marsee will join fellow left-handed hitters Griffin Conine, Kyle Stowers and Joe Mack on the bench for the series finale while southpaw Joey Cantillo toes the rubber for Cleveland. Miami will go with a starting outfield of Heriberto Hernandez, Esteury Ruiz and Javier Sanoja from left to right Sunday.
