Karros went 3-for-5 with two RBI in Friday's 4-3 win over the Giants.

Karros' two-run single in the eighth inning put the Rockies ahead 3-2. The third baseman has hit well so far in July, going 12-for-37 (.324) over 10 games this month. He's now batting .267 with an .802 OPS, eight home runs, 33 RBI, 46 runs scored, 18 doubles, two triples and three stolen bases over 91 contests this year.

Romano allowed a run on one hit and three walks over two-thirds of an inning in Friday's 4-3 win over the Giants.

Romano was brought in to close out the game after the Rockies took the lead in the eighth inning. He couldn't get the job done, and Juan Mejia ultimately got the final out after Romano left the bases loaded. This was the first run Romano has allowed in four outings with the Rockies. He has a 7.71 ERA, 2.14 WHIP and 17:10 K:BB through 11.2 innings between the Rockies and the Angels, but he's also collected six saves and a hold. Romano is in the mix as part of Colorado's convoluted closer committee -- he's earned two of the team's three most recent saves, but no reliever on the roster has more than four saves all season.

Mejia retired the only batter he faced to earn the save in Friday's 4-3 win over the Giants.

Jordan Romano initially got the save chance, but he put four of the six batters he faced on base. Mejia inherited a bases-loaded situation and got Bryce Eldridge to ground out, ending the threat. This was Mejia's first save since May 18 versus the Rangers, and after some bumpy performances in late May and early June, he's seen his high-leverage opportunities decrease. The reliever has a 5.74 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 44:22 K:BB through 42.1 innings this season, and he's added four saves and six holds.

Gordon allowed one run on eight hits and a walk while striking out one over five innings in a no-decision versus the Giants on Friday.

Gordon didn't have a great outing, but he was good enough to limit damage. Just two of the Giants' eight hits off him went for extra bases -- a solo home run by Rafael Devers and a double by Drew Gilbert. Gordon had allowed five homers and 10 runs over his last 10 innings coming into Friday. The right-hander is now at a 6.44 ERA, 1.61 WHIP and 47:11 K:BB through 50.1 innings across 12 games (five starts) this season.

Pages went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 9-3 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Pages went back-to-back with Shohei Ohtani in the first inning to erase Arizona's initial 2-0 lead. This homer was Pages' second in his last 11 games, a span in which he has gone 11-for-39 (.282) with seven RBI and a 6:8 BB:K. Overall, the outfielder is batting .269 with an .807 OPS, 17 homers, 65 RBI, 55 runs scored, 21 doubles, one triple and eight stolen bases over 94 contests this season.

Ohtani went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 9-3 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Ohtani wasn't able to pitch Friday due to ongoing irritation in his left knee, which is expected to be addressed during the All-Star break. The superstar still got into the lineup as designated hitter and delivered a home run to lead off the bottom of the first inning. He's up to 21 homers on the year, including nine that have come in the first inning of games. That ties him with Drake Baldwin and Junior Caminero for the most first-inning homers in the majors. Ohtani is batting .290 with a .943 OPS, 57 RBI, 63 runs scored, 15 doubles, two triples and six stolen bases over 90 games as a hitter this year.

Vargas went 3-for-4 with a home run, two doubles, three total RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 14-1 win over the Athletics.

Even though Tristan Peters grabbed all the headlines after hitting for the cycle, Vargas was locked in at the plate as well and racked up eight total bases. The star third baseman snapped a five-game homer drought with his solo shot in the eighth inning off Carlos Cortes, and he has 21 on the year. He ranks third among all AL third basemen in homers this season behind Junior Caminero (28) and Kazuma Okamoto (22).

Tawa went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run, two additional RBI and a stolen base in Friday's 9-3 win over the Dodgers.

Tawa put the Diamondbacks ahead for good with his fourth-inning blast. Prior to Friday, he had gone 0-for-7 over three games during his current stint in the majors. He's hitting .187 with a .586 OPS, two homers, 12 RBI, seven runs scored, three doubles and two steals across 90 plate appearances with the Diamondbacks this season. Tawa started at first base for the second game in a row after Pavin Smith was designated for assignment Thursday. First base is a weakness in Arizona's lineup, so Tawa may be able to carve out a short-side platoon role alongside Ildemaro Vargas at the position.

Peters went 4-for-4 with a double, a triple, a two-run home run, four total RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 14-1 win over the Athletics.

Peters became the third player to hit for the cycle this season, joining Pete Crow-Armstrong and Bryce Harper, and the seventh to do so in franchise history. Furthermore, Peters became the third player since the expansion era (since 1961) to complete the cycle by getting two hits in the same inning, according to Scott Merkin of MLB.com. This was Peters' third multi-hit performance since the beginning of July, a span during which he's hitting 12-for-27 (.444) with two homers, three doubles, a triple, five RBI and six runs scored.

Rodriguez (8-3) allowed two runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out five over six innings to earn the win over the Dodgers on Friday.

Rodriguez got off to a shaky start, allowing back-to-back home runs to Shohei Ohtani and Andy Pages to begin the bottom of the first inning. It got better for Rodriguez after that, and he ended up with his fifth straight quality start after settling down. He's allowed just six runs over 32.2 innings in that span. The veteran southpaw continues to impress with a 2.29 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 79:39 K:BB through 114 innings over 19 starts this season. Rodriguez has benefited from a career-best .248 BABIP while allowing just 12 homers this season compared to 25 over 154.1 innings in 2025.
