Prielipp did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Twins, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out six.

After a 10-strikeout performance his last time out, Prielipp was not as effective Wednesday as he got through only five frames following three straight outings of working exactly six innings. Prielipp has struggled to settle into the rotation during his rookie campaign and heads into the All-Star break with a 5.00 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 71:25 K:BB across 66.2 innings (13 starts).

Trout went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run, a walk and a second run scored in Wednesday's 13-1 win over the Rangers.

Trout missed about three weeks due to a hamstring strain before being reinstated from the injured list Wednesday. He served as the designated hitter in his return to the lineup, and it wouldn't be surprising to see most of his playing time there as he eases back into action without a rehab assignment. The star outfielder is up to 18 homers and 38 RBI on the year, and he's batting .234 with an .874 OPS across 75 contests.

Adell went 2-for-4 with a pair of home runs, a hit-by-pitch, five RBI and three total runs scored in Wednesday's 13-1 win over the Rangers.

Adell went deep in the fourth and fifth innings to turn this game into a rout. He has gone 16-for-58 (.276) with three homers and 11 RBI over his last 15 contests. For the season, the outfielder is batting .251 with a .703 OPS, 13 homers, 52 RBI, 42 runs scored, 15 doubles, one triple and three stolen bases over 92 games while continuing to occupy a starting role.

Urena allowed one hit and five walks while striking out three over four scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the Rangers on Wednesday.

Urena's inefficiency (52 strikes on 90 pitches) ultimately kept him from ending his winless stretch, which is now at three games. However, aside from a seven-run disaster versus the Athletics on June 26, he's largely pitched well despite some control problems. Urena is now at a 2.88 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 78:46 K:BB through 81.1 innings over 17 games (15 starts) during his rookie campaign.

Cecconi took home a no-decision Wednesday against the Twins after tossing 3.2 innings. He gave up three runs on six hits and one walk while striking out four.

Cecconi had six straight starts of five innings or more heading Wednesday, but an inefficient fourth inning during which he allowed four hits and a walk resulted in an early hook. The right-hander was quite effective in June with a 1.88 ERA over 28.2 innings, but he's started July on a rough note, giving up eight earned runs on 15 hits across 8.2 frames in his first two starts this month.

Harrison said after Wednesday's loss to the Cardinals that he has been dealing with soreness on the outside of his elbow over the past few weeks, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

After quietly dealing with the injury for several outings, Harrison spoke up about his discomfort Wednesday, which explains why he was pulled after just four innings. It also indicates why his performance has begun to dip recently, as he's now turned in a 5.00 ERA across his last four starts. Despite the premature exit, the 24-year-old southpaw didn't seem to be very concerned about the issue, and he'll have plenty of time to recover before making his next start after the All-Star break.

Fermin went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 5-1 win versus the Brewers.

Fermin smashed a homer off Kyle Harrison in the fourth inning to give St. Louis the 3-0 lead. After a strong June during which he hit .321 with six RBIs and three stolen bases in 18 contests, the super-utility man has started the last seven games. However, it's worth noting that the Cardinals faced a left-handed starting pitcher in five of those contests, so Fermin should still be viewed as a short-side platoon player for now.

Burleson went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a double and an additional RBI in Wednesday's 5-1 victory against the Brewers.

Burleson crushed a 443-foot, two-run shot over the right-field wall to extend St. Louis' lead to 5-0 in the sixth inning. Although he has struggled against left-handed pitching all season (.497 OPS), Burleson did most of his damage Wednesday against them, including the home run off Brewers reliever Jared Koenig. The 27-year-old Burleson now has a .277/.339/.474 slash line with 15 homers and 66 RBI through 90 games this year.

The Mets are expected to select Hammer's contract from Triple-A Syracuse on Thursday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Hammer has split time this season between Double-A Binghamton and Triple-A Syracuse, logging a 2.16 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and a 38:21 K:BB across 33.1 combined innings. He will be making his MLB debut whenever he gets into a game.

McGreevy (4-7) got the win Wednesday against Milwaukee, allowing one run on five hits and one walk, while striking out six.

McGreevy notched an elusive win after going nine straight starts without one by allowing weak contact and striking out his most batters in a game since May (also six in that game). Overall, the right-hander has put up effective stats all season for the Cardinals, posting a 3.01 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, and a 66:23 K:BB across 101.2 innings. The 26-year-old is not slated to start again until after the All-Star break.
