Hernandez (oblique) took live batting practice against rehabbing teammate Edwin Diaz (elbow) on Sunday, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

Hernandez's ability to face live pitching about five and a half weeks after suffering what the Dodgers termed as a "significant tear" of his left oblique represents a major step forward in his recovery process. The Dodgers will likely check back in with Hernandez on Monday before mapping out his next steps in the recovery process, but he could soon be ready to head out on a minor-league rehab assignment. Hernandez isn't on track to be activated from the 10-day injured list prior to the All-Star break but looks to have a shot at rejoining the Dodgers before the end of July.

The Dodgers announced Thursday that Treinen (elbow) has resumed playing catch, per MLB.com.

Treinen is working his way through a throwing program after landing on the injured list June 20 due to right elbow inflammation, but the Dodgers aren't counting on him to return until after the All-Star break. Once he's activated, Treinen will likely handle a middle-innings or setup role out of the Los Angeles bullpen.

The Nationals optioned Yean to Triple-A Rochester following Sunday's 11-5 loss to the Pirates.

Yean was recalled from Triple-A prior to Sunday's game. He was brought in for the third inning and looked good in his major-league debut, allowing one walk and zero hits while striking out three across two scoreless frames. Yean will head back to Rochester but could return to the majors when the Nationals need more right-handed depth out of the bullpen.

Atlanta manager Walt Weiss said after Sunday's 10-9 loss to the Mets that Perez will likely be placed on the 15-day injured list, despite X-rays on the left-hander's forearm coming back negative, Chad Bishop of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Perez departed his start in the fifth inning after he was hit in the pitching arm by a 92-mph line drive off the bat of Juan Soto. The southpaw was dealt a third straight loss after allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits and two walks while striking out one batter across 4.1 innings. A minimum-length stint on the IL would have Perez back in Atlanta's rotation just after the All-Star break, though he's without a precise timeline to return for the moment.

The Twins acquired Go from the Tigers on Sunday in exchange for cash considerations, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Go opened the season in Double-A Erie before being promoted to Triple-A Toledo in early May. Across 19 outings at Triple-A, he has posted a 2.60 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, two saves and a 32:11 K:BB across 27.2 innings. The 27-year-old righty has yet to make his MLB debut, but he should get the chance to do so soon; Dan Hayes of The Athletic relays that Go will be added to the 40-man roster and formally added to the 26-man active roster Tuesday.

Williams picked up the save in Sunday's 10-9 win over Atlanta, allowing a run on three hits in two-thirds of an inning. He struck out two.

It looked like Williams would get the day off, as the Mets entered the ninth inning ahead 10-3. However, after Huascar Brazoban gave up five runs, Williams was called upon to put out the fire. It didn't come easy for Williams either, as he gave up a run before Atlanta loaded the bases with two outs. However, he rebounded to strike out Dominic Smith to close out a one-run victory, notching his 13th save this season. Prior to Sunday, Williams had allowed just one run in his previous 11.1 innings, logging five saves in that span. Overall, his ERA sits at 4.34 through 29 innings this year with a 1.55 WHIP and 43:16 K:BB.

The Rockies returned Doyle (oblique) from his rehab assignment Sunday, but he remains on the 10-day injured list.

Placed on the IL on May 21 due to a left oblique contusion, Doyle made enough progress in his recovery to resume playing in games for Triple-A Albuquerque on June 23. He went 7-for-22 with one home run and one stolen base over six contests, but he tweaked his left groin last weekend and then aggravated the injury again Saturday. Now back in Denver, Doyle is scheduled to undergo further evaluation from the Rockies' medical staff before the team determines a treatment plan. Doyle will likely remain on the shelf through at least the All-Star break.

O'Hoppe (head) will start behind home plate and bat eighth against the Red Sox on Sunday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

O'Hoppe was out of Saturday's lineup after taking a foul tip to the mask during the third inning of Friday's game against Boston. He's been cleared to return to the lineup, and he will form a battery with Ryan Johnson for Sunday's series finale.

Quintana (elbow) is scheduled to play catch Monday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

The veteran left-hander has been building up his arm strength by throwing weighted balls, clearing the way for him to play catch for the first time since suffering an elbow sprain in late May. Quintana will be eligible to be reinstated from the injured list in late July, but he'll likely need more time to ramp up to MLB readiness.

McLean (6-5) earned the win Sunday over Atlanta, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out five.

It looked like it was going to be a short outing for McLean after the right-hander gave up three runs in the first inning. However, he beared down and blanked Atlanta over his final five frames, allowing just two more hits en route to his second straight win. McLean has held opponents to two earned runs or fewer in six of his last seven outings, posting a 2.70 ERA in that span. Overall, his ERA sits at 3.73 through 18 starts (101.1 innings) this season with a 1.12 WHIP and 118:37 K:BB. McLean is currently in line for a home matchup with the Red Sox his next time out.
