White is starting in right field for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Though he'll draw a start Sunday while lefty Robbie Ray toes the rubber for the Giants, the right-handed-hitting White has seen his opportunities to play against right-handed pitching dwindle of late. Atlanta has used Ha-Seong Kim at shortstop in its past two matchups versus righties, resulting in Mauricio Dubon moving into a corner-outfield spot and bumping White from the lineup on both occasions.

Eldridge is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta.

The Giants will shield the left-handed-hitting Eldridge from a tough lefty (Chris Sale) in the series finale. The freshly activated Heliot Ramos will enter the starting nine at designated hitter while Eldridge heads to the bench for the first time since June 2.

Thompson (shoulder) has been shut down due to an intercostal strain, Amber Winkler of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Thompson had progressed to throwing off the mound following last August's arthroscopic surgery on his left shoulder, but he's now battling a new injury. The left-hander has not made a game appearance at any level since 2024 due to multiple shoulder and lat issues.

Gilbert is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta.

Gilbert will be on the bench for the third time in four games and appears likely to move into a fourth- or fifth-outfielder role after the Giants welcomed Heliot Ramos (quadriceps) back from the injured list Sunday. Since the start of June, Gilbert has gotten on base at a .381 clip but hasn't hit for average (.208) or power (.271 slugging percentage) and has gone 0-for-3 on stolen-base attempts.

Diaz was removed from Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks due to a left shoulder strain, Ryan Bass of Rays.tv reports.

The veteran slugger went 1-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored prior to departing the contest. Diaz should be considered day-to-day as he continues to be evaluated, and he'll have a team day off Monday to aid in his recovery ahead of Tuesday's series opener in Kansas City.

Lee will start in right field and bat seventh in Sunday's game against Atlanta.

Though he could wind up seeing most of his playing time in center field while Harrison Bader (foot) is on the shelf, Lee stick in a corner spot Sunday after the Giants made a late change to their lineup for the series finale versus Atlanta. Jonah Cox was added to the lineup in center field in response to left fielder Casey Schmitt (illness) being scratched from the starting nine.

Haase will start at catcher and bat eighth in Sunday's game against Atlanta.

Triple-A Sacramento call-up Drew Cavanaugh received the first two starts at catcher following Daniel Susac's (back) placement on the injured list Friday, but Haase could end up being the main beneficiary from a playing-time standpoint while Susac is shelved. Since being promoted from Triple-A on April 21, Haase is batting just .200 but has made his 12 hits count, slugging four home runs and three doubles over 66 plate appearances.

Schmitt was scratched from the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies due to an illness, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Schmitt was penciled in to start in left field and bat third but will instead receive a day off due to an ailment. Jonah Cox will replace him in the lineup and man center field, pushing Jung Hoo Lee to right and Victor Bericoto to left.

O'Hoppe is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.

Tyler Heineman will get the nod at catcher while O'Hoppe rests after starting the previous two games. Dating back to the start of June, O'Hoppe is hitting .286 with two home runs, 10 RBI and five runs in 20 games.

Ashcraft (elbow) will receive another scan on his UCL on Tuesday, Charlie Goldsmith of Fox 19 Now Cincinnati reports.

Ashcraft had a platelet-rich plasma injection in his right elbow at the beginning of the month, so the scan will presumably gauge the healing of the ligament. The Reds placed him on the 60-day injured list May 29, making him ineligible to return until late July.
