Manager Stephen Vogt said Sabrowski (elbow) threw a bullpen session Monday that went well, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Sabrowski is set to throw another bullpen in the upcoming days. Afterward, the southpaw's next steps will by decided. With his progress coming along, a rehab assignment may be on the horizon.

The Brewers expect Hall to return from his left pec strain in late July, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Hall was originally expected to return sometime around the All-Star break when he first landed on the IL on Friday, but the team has since determined that he will require a slightly longer recovery. Hall had been enjoying a career year before getting injured, posting a 2.03 ERA and 1.23 WHIP over 31 innings.

Waldrep (elbow) had his rehab assignment transferred to Double-A Columbus, where he will make his next start Thursday, Grant McAuley of the Marietta Daily Journal reports.

The right-hander covered two frames in both of his rehab outings in the rookie-level Florida Complex League, setting the stage for him to move to the upper minors. Those appearances marked Waldrep's first game action since September as he works his way back from an offseason elbow procedure. He'll likely require a couple more minor-league starts after Thursday before making his 2026 debut for Atlanta.

Rutschman is out of the lineup for Tuesday's matchup against Seattle.

Rutschman will ride the bench for the second game in a row after starting each of the team's previous 11 contests. Sam Huff will once again start at catcher and bat ninth Tuesday. The Orioles have yet to announce an injury, but Rutschman is presumably dealing with something given that he has an .832 OPS through 48 games this season and is batting .360 (9-for-25) in June.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Tuesday that Smith (neck) "still doesn't feel right" and might need a stint on the injured list, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.

Smith did some hitting and played catch pregame Tuesday, but his neck is still giving him trouble when he's in the batter's box. He's missing a third straight start Tuesday and his condition will have to improve soon if he wants to avoid the IL. If Smith requires a stay on the shelf, Dalton Rushing would be in line for regular starts at catcher for the Dodgers.

Cruz (hand) is back in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Dodgers.

Cruz was held out of Sunday's lineup due to a cut on his hand that he suffered when he slid into home plate during Saturday's matchup against Atlanta. The 27-year-old has slashed .264/.350/.472 with 14 homers, 44 RBI and 21 steals on the campaign. Cruz will play center field and bat sixth Tuesday.

Lindor (calf) will go through full baseball activities this week during the Mets' homestand, Chelsea Janes of SNY.tv reports.

Lindor has been ramping up his activity level recently and will have no major restrictions this week as he continues to crank it up a notch. The star shortstop has been sidelined since late April with a left calf strain, so he is sure to require a rehab assignment before rejoining the Mets' active roster. Those rehab games could come next week if all goes well with Lindor's workouts this week.

Lowe (knee) is back in the lineup for Tuesday's series opener against the Dodgers.

Lowe is back in the starting lineup for Pittsburgh after fouling a ball off his right knee during Saturday's game against Atlanta. The injury was deemed not serious, but Pittsburgh wanted to be cautious with its second baseman because it was the same knee that he fractured in September of 2023. Lowe will be back at second base and batting second.

Thompson is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Cubs.

Thompson will hit the bench for a third straight game, with two of his absences during that span coming against right-handed starting pitchers. Since being promoted from Triple-A Albuquerque on May 22, Thompson has gotten on base at a strong .364 clip, but he's hit for little power (.297 slugging percentage) over 15 games. The Rockies seem to be prioritizing Edouard Julien ahead of Thompson for the final spot in their lineup, so it wouldn't be surprising if Thompson were sent back to Albuquerque in the near future while his playing time continues to slip.

Montgomery is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's game against Atlanta due to back tightness, James Fegan of SoxMachine.com reports.

It's unclear when the injury first surfaced for Montgomery, as he started the previous four games and is coming off a team day off Monday. The issue doesn't seem to be a serious concern, so the 24-year-old should be considered day-to-day for now. Luisangel Acuna is starting at shortstop Tuesday while top prospect Braden Montgomery was called up to make his MLB debut in the outfield.
