Garcia went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Padres.

Garcia broke a scoreless tie in the fourth inning with a 402-foot blast off Griffin Canning, his fifth homer of the year. Garcia's been swinging the bat well of late, going 9-for-25 with a pair of homers and a 1.000 OPS over his last seven games. Overall, he's slashing .268/.290/.430 with 30 RBI, 21 runs scored and a pair of stolen bases across 186 plate appearances this season.

Guardians manager Stephen Vogt said Saturday that Arias (hamstring) is getting "closer" to a rehab assignment, MLB.com reports.

Arias recently began baseball activities and hitting in cages following a brief pause in his rehab activity. Since he landed on the injured list in early April, Cleveland's middle infield has evolved into a tandem of Travis Bazzana at second base and Brayan Rocchio at shortstop. That leaves an infield utility role for Arias when he's ready to return; however, Daniel Schneemann can fill that same role.

Duran went 1-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Royals.

All of Duran's offense came in the Rangers' four-run first inning. He plated two with two-out triple and scored one batter later. He had RBI in all three games in the sweep of the Royals and amassed 16 RBI over the last 13 contests.

Lopez went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Sunday's 6-3 win over Kansas City.

Lopez made a fifth consecutive start at second base and has hit safely in the last three contests, going 5-for-11 with a home run and three RBI during that stretch. The keystone was looking like a good fit for Justin Foscue until the Rangers acquired the left-handed hitting Lopez, who appears to be the choice against right-handers. Texas faces a sixth straight right-hander Monday, when it is scheduled to face St. Louis right-hander Michael McGreevy.

De La Cruz (hamstring) is optimistic he won't miss much time after leaving Sunday's game, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.

De La Cruz pulled up on his way to first base on a hit that might normally be a double. He believes he caught himself before doing anything worse to the hamstring. "When I was starting running and then when I was making the turn to get to first, I felt tightness on my hamstring and I immediately decided to stop because I felt like if I kept going, this could get worse," De La Cruz said, via an interpreter. He had gone 2-for-2 with a walk, a stolen base and scored twice Sunday before being removed in the fifth inning. The Reds begin a three-game series with the Royals on Monday.

McLain entered Sunday's game as a pinch runner for the injured Elly De La Cruz (hamstring) and finished the game at shortstop. He went 0-for-1 with a run scored.

McLain has experienced a reduction in playing time as the result of a silent bat. He's batting .038 (1-for-26) over his last eight games, and the Reds are using second base to get at-bats for Spencer Steer, who no longer has an everyday home in the outfield. De La Cruz is set to undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of his injury. If he needs to miss time, the door to the starting lineup should reopen for McLain.

Arenado returned to the starting lineup and went 0-for-4 in Sundays 3-2 loss to Seattle.

Arenado missed time last week due to a groin injury and was scratched from Saturday's game after making an appearance off the bench Friday, during which he was hit by a pitch. He was back in his role as the team's third baseman and batted cleanup.

Gonzales went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and two runs scored Sunday against the Twins.

Gonzales has hit for a relatively empty .303 batting average across 216 plate appearances this season, though he managed to end his home-run drought with a two-run homer in the third inning. He still has only a .061 ISO on the campaign, though he has hit either fourth or fifth in Pittsburgh's order in seven of his last eight starts. Gonzales' playing time should also be solidified in the short term while Konnor Griffin (elbow) is sidelined.

O'Hearn went 2-for-4 with a solo home run Sunday against the Twins.

O'Hearn was activated from the injured list Sunday after missing almost exactly two weeks with an oblique injury. He homered in his first plate appearance, tallying his eighth long ball of the season. O'Hearn batted cleanup in his return and should continue to occupy a key spot in the Pirates' lineup.

The Athletics are expected to call up Morris from Triple-A Las Vegas during the upcoming week, Chris Correa of the Turlock Journal repots.

The 23-year-old will receive his first call to the big leagues after posting a 4.45 ERA and 1.48 WHIP with 49 strikeouts over 60.2 innings in 11 starts with Las Vegas. The Athletics are planning to option left-hander Jacob Lopez to Triple-A on Monday, and his demotion could clear the way for Morris to claim one of the two vacant spots in the Athletics rotation. Gage Jump and Jeffrey Springs are the Athletics' confirmed starters for the first two games of the team's upcoming series in Chicago, but Morris could be a candidate to make a start in Thursday's finale versus the Cubs or during next weekend's series in Houston.
