Ragans (elbow) struck out three batters and allowed one earned run on three hits and one walk across 4.1 innings Saturday in his rehab start with Triple-A Omaha.

Seeing his first game action in two weeks, Ragans came through with a positive outing at Omaha, recording 13 outs on 68 pitches (44 strikes) while averaging 95.2 mph with his fastball during the start. Per Anne Rogers of MLB.com, manager Matt Quatraro said that Ragans is scheduled to return to Kansas City this week for further evaluation before the Royals decide on the lefty's next steps. Quatraro noted that a return from the 15-day injured list after just one rehab start is a "possibility" for Ragans, who could re-enter the rotation as soon as Friday's road game against the Rangers.

Lauer is slated to make his team debut in a start Tuesday against the Rockies at Dodger Stadium, Maddie Lee of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Acquired from the Blue Jays last Sunday, Lauer went unused during his first week with the Dodgers but will move into the team's six-man rotation Tuesday after Los Angeles recently lost Blake Snell (elbow) to the injured list. After serving as a key depth piece in the rotation and bullpen for Toronto in 2025, Lauer was unable to replicate those results this season, posting a 6.69 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 26:16 K:BB across 36.1 innings in eight appearances (six starts) before being dealt to Los Angeles. The veteran southpaw will get a soft landing spot in his first appearance as a Dodger, facing off against a Rockies squad that entered Sunday ranking last in the majors with a 68 wRC+ against left-handed pitching.

Gordon is expected to start Monday's contest on the mound against the Dodgers, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Gordon will draw a tough test in his first start of the 2026 campaign, squaring off with the back-to-back World Series champions on the road to open a three-game series. The 28-year-old surrendered seven runs on 12 hits and a walk while punching out five batters over 6.1 frames in bulk relief Tuesday against the Rangers, and he owns an inflated 6.59 ERA over 27.1 innings in seven appearances this season.

Phillips took a no-decision during Sunday's 4-0 win over the Mets, allowing no runs on two hits and two walks in 3.2 innings. He struck out four.

Phillips fared well in his first start of the season, matching a season high in punchouts. The 28-year-old also worked efficiently, throwing 37 of his 59 pitches for strikes. Per Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.com, manager Clayton McCullough confirmed following Sunday's contest that Phillips is staying in Miami's rotation for now, so the right-hander could push his pitch count in to the 60-to-70 range the next time his turn comes up next weekend in a rematch with the Mets at Citi Field. Phillips holds a 1.07 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 31:18 K:BB over 33.2 innings on the season, but he might be tough to depend on as a streaming option until he's fully stretched out for a normal starter's workload.

Astros general manager Dana Brown said Sunday that Hader (biceps) is in line to return from the 60-day injured list in the first week of June, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Hader has thus far looked sharp through his first six rehab appearances between Double-A Corpus Christi and Triple-A Sugar Land, covering six innings and striking out nine batters while giving up one earned run on four hits and no walks. Brown said that the left-hander is scheduled to pitch for Corpus Christi again on Sunday, then will require two more tune-up outings in the minors before getting cleared to return from the IL. Assuming Hader checks out fine from a performance and velocity standpoint during his upcoming appearances, he'll likely slide back into the closer role for Houston immediately upon being activated.

Scott took a no-decision Sunday against the Marlins, allowing no runs on four hits and two walks in 5.2 innings. He struck out five.

Scott delivered arguably his best effort of the campaign so far, turning in his first scoreless start while completing a season-best 5.2 frames. Control has perhaps been the 26-year-old right-hander's biggest impediment in 2026, as the hurler has hit at least one batter and also walked multiple hitters in four of his first five outings. Scott owns a 3.20 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 30:14 K:BB across 25.1 innings heading into next weekend's scheduled rematch at home versus Miami.

Sproat (1-3) took the loss Sunday against the Dodgers, allowing three runs on four hits and four walks in four-plus innings. He struck out seven.

Although Sproat did register a career-high seven punchouts, he was unable to record an out in the fifth inning before being chased. The 25-year-old right-hander has now issued multiple free passes in nine of his 10 appearances on the year but has been especially wild of late, walking at least three while also hitting a batter in three of his past four outings. Sproat will take a rough 5.84 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 48:27 K:BB over 44.2 frames into his next scheduled start against the Astros in Houston.

Yamamoto (4-4) earned the win Sunday against the Brewers, allowing one run on seven hits and one walk in seven innings. He struck out three.

Yamamoto continues to supply the Dodgers with plenty of length, having lasted at least six innings in all but one of his 10 starts on the campaign. The 27-year-old right-hander did give up a season-worst seven knocks Sunday, but that didn't stop him from working at least seven frames for the fourth time already this year. Yamamoto has a strong 3.09 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 59:13 K:BB over 64 innings, but he's lined up for a tough test next weekend against the Phillies.

Astros manager Joe Espada said Sunday that Altuve (oblique) is expected to resume swinging a bat "in the next day or two," Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Altuve traveled with the Astros to Chicago for their series versus the Cubs but is slated to fly to Florida later Sunday as he begins his rehab program for the moderate left oblique strain that recently sent him to the injured list. He's already started playing catch again, but swinging the bat will represent a more meaningful step forward in his recovery from the oblique injury. Altuve still has multiple checkpoints to hit before being deemed ready for game action, but he seems to be making quicker progress than the Astros may have initially anticipated.

Quintana will head back to Denver for an MRI on his left elbow, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Quintana exited Sunday's start against the Diamondbacks in the second inning with left elbow discomfort, and he will now head back home instead of continuing the road trip with the Rockies. The southpaw could be set for an extended absence, depending on the results of his MRI.
