Doyle went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored Saturday against the Diamondbacks.

Doyle drew the start with lefty Eduardo Rodriguez on the mound and hit second in the lineup. He reached base on a double in the first inning and came around to score, and he followed that up with a single and an additional run scored in the eighth frame. Doyle remains in a small-side platoon, as he's started only one of Colorado's nine games against right-handed pitching since the start of May.

Benge went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Yankees.

Benge continues to improve -- this was his fourth multi-hit effort over his last five games. He hadn't logged an extra-base hit since May 8, but that changed with his two-out double in the third inning. The outfield prospect is batting .245 with a .653 OPS, three home runs, 13 RBI, 19 runs scored, six doubles and eight stolen bases over 42 contests this season. This was his fifth straight game atop the lineup, which should give him a chance to utilize his speed if he keeps getting on base frequently.

Soto went 2-for-2 with two walks, two stolen bases and one run scored in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Yankees.

Soto is 7-for-18 (.389) over his last five games as he continues to shake off a slump from earlier in May. Soto stole multiple bases in the same game just twice in the 2025 regular season despite tallying a career-high 38 steals, more than three times as many as he had in any previous year. He's been far less productive on the basepaths this year, in part due to a calf strain he sustained early in the campaign. Soto is batting .284 with an .888 OPS, six home runs, three steals, 14 RBI, 15 runs scored, four doubles and a triple over 30 contests in 2026.

Williams struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Yankees.

Williams threw eight of 12 pitches for strikes in his fourth clean appearance of the month. He's gone eight straight outings (7.2 innings) without allowing a run, giving up just one hit with a 10:1 K:BB and four saves in that span. Williams appears to have put his early struggles behind him, though they're still evident in his 4.91 ERA and 1:50 WHIP over 14.2 innings this season. He's up to six saves in seven chances and is unchallenged for the closer role -- Tobias Myers (one) is the only other pitcher on the Mets' roster to log a save so far in 2026.

Peterson (2-4) allowed two runs on six hits, three walks and a hit batsman while striking out eight over four innings to earn the win Saturday versus the Yankees.

This was Peterson's third consecutive bulk-relief appearance, a span that has seen him earn his first two wins of the season. In his three outings in May, he's allowed seven runs (four earned) with a 17:3 K:BB over 13 innings. Overall, he has a 5.40 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 46:17 K:BB through 43.1 innings. Peterson's looked more effective working behind an opener, so that trend could continue for his next projected outing, which lines up to be on the road against the Nationals.

Rodon (0-1) allowed three runs (two earned) on three hits and three walks while striking out six over 3.2 innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Mets.

Rodon threw 55 of 88 pitches for strikes in his second big-league start this season following offseason elbow surgery. The southpaw has now given up six runs (five earned) with a 10:8 K:BB through eight innings over his two starts. His pitch count Saturday suggests he's pretty close to fully stretched out, so he'll just need to work on fine-tuning his control and efficiency moving forward. Rodon's next start is projected to be at home versus the Blue Jays.

Baldwin went 2-for-3 with a home run, a walk and two total RBI in a loss to the Red Sox on Saturday.

Baldwin was the centerpiece of Atlanta's offense, collecting two of the team's four hits and reaching base three times in total. He also produced both of the team's runs on a first-inning solo homer and a fifth-inning RBI single. Baldwin has gone deep four times over his past six games, though all four of those homers have been solo shots. He leads MLB catchers with 13 home runs on the season and ranks second for his position with 36 RBI.

Contreras went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run Saturday in a 3-2 win against Atlanta.

Boston was trailing 2-1 when Contreras came up to the plate with a runner on base in the eighth inning. The veteran first baseman turned the game around, crushing a two-run blast to give the Red Sox a one-run advantage that ultimately held up as the final score. Contreras had been struggling mightily coming into Saturday, batting .103 (3-for-29) across his previous nine games. With the two hits, he logged his first multi-hit performance since May 3.

Elder (4-2) took the loss against Boston on Saturday, allowing three runs on seven hits and no walks while striking out three batters over eight innings.

Elder didn't overwhelm Red Sox hitters, but he limited them to just one run until Willson Contreras tagged him for a two-run homer in the eighth inning. That long ball resulted in the righty hurler taking his first loss since April 4, but Elder still finished with his fifth quality start across his past six outings. His eight completed frames were also a season-high mark, and Elder still hasn't given up more than three runs in any of his 10 appearances this season. His advanced metrics won't drop any jaws, but Elder has nonetheless put up excellent numbers so far this season, posting a 2.01 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 56:20 K:BB through 62.2 innings.

Chapman earned a save against Atlanta on Saturday, walking two batters over one hitless and scoreless inning.

Chapman entered in the ninth frame with the task of protecting a one-run lead. He nearly let his wildness get the best of him, as the veteran closer threw just 10 of 20 pitches for strikes and issued two free passes. However, Chapman used his athleticism to escape with the save, corralling a batted ball that ricocheted off his foot and bounced toward the foul line and tossing it to first base to get the final out. The left-hander is 10-for-10 in save chances this season with a minuscule 0.57 ERA and 21:7 K:BB through 15.2 innings spanning 16 appearances.
