Naylor will report to the Guardians' spring training complex in Arizona before joining Triple-A Columbus, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

Naylor, who was optioned to Columbus on Saturday, will get a reset in Arizona away from the daily rigors of game activity. Barring an injury to Patrick Bailey or Austin Hedges in Cleveland, Naylor faces a difficult path back to the majors.

Bailey went 0-for-3 in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Twins.

Bailey, who was acquired from the Giants on Saturday, made his debut for the Guardians a day later. He'll take the lead on the depth chart at catcher ahead of Austin Hedges. Bailey, a two-time Gold Glove winner, likely won't offer much with the bat and is hitting .141 with five RBI over 31 games on the season.

Adames went 3-for-6 with a double and two RBI in Sunday's 7-6 extra-innings win over the Pirates.

Adames is starting to come around at the plate, going 10-for-41 (.244) over his last 10 games. He's still racked up 11 strikeouts without a walk in that span, and he's added just two extra-base hits. The shortstop is batting .209 with a .584 OPS, three home runs, eight RBI, 14 runs scored, 12 doubles and one stolen base over 39 contests. Adames isn't in immediate danger of losing his place in the lineup, but the Giants' infield is crowded with top prospect Bryce Eldridge joining the mix earlier this week, which has pushed Casey Schmitt into a utility role. Schmitt can play shortstop and could apply pressure if Adames starts to slump.

Ramos went 2-for-6 with a solo home run, a double, a second RBI and three total runs scored in Sunday's 7-6 extra-innings win over the Pirates.

Ramos carved up the Pirates' pitching this weekend, going 6-for-13 with three RBI during the three-game series. That came after he was held hitless in consecutive games for the first time all year with back-to-back 0-for-4 performances against the Padres on Tuesday and Wednesday. The outfielder is batting a steady .272 with a .743 OPS, four homers, 18 RBI, 17 runs scored, nine doubles, one triple and no stolen bases over 39 contests. Ramos continues to operate as the Giants' starting left fielder.

Mahle gave up four runs on five hits and two walks while striking out eight over 5.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Pirates on Sunday.

Mahle gave up solo shots to Konnor Griffin and Oneil Cruz during this start. This is the third time Mahle's given up multiple homers in an outing this season, but he's yielded no other long balls in his other five starts. The eight strikeouts were also a season high for the right-hander. He's pitched to a 5.18 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 42:20 K:BB through 41.2 innings this season. Mahle is projected to make his next start on the road versus the Athletics.

Teng (1-3) was tagged with the loss in Sunday's game against the Reds, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk while striking out one batter across three innings.

Teng has pitched well out of the bullpen this season but was thrust into a starting role for Sunday's game. He kept the Reds off the board through the first three innings but ran into trouble in the fourth, yielding three runs on four hits without recording an out before being pulled. Unfortunately for Teng, he was unable to avoid the loss after his Astros teammates failed to score a run on three hits and a walk. Teng could make another start given the myriad of injuries to the Astros' rotation, and that could come next weekend at home against the Rangers.

Griffin went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's 7-6 extra-innings loss to the Giants.

Griffin has two homers over his last 12 games, and he's batting .333 (15-for-45) with three steals and seven RBI in that span. The shortstop has found some consistency at the plate lately, as he's been held hitless just once during that 12-game sample. He's batting .256 with a .721 OPS, three homers, 19 RBI, 15 runs scored, nine steals, five doubles and two triples through 35 contests this season.

Cruz went 1-for-5 with a solo home run, a walk, a stolen base and two total runs scored in Sunday's 7-6 extra-innings loss to the Giants.

Cruz went 5-for-14 with two walks during this three-game series in San Francisco. The homer was his first since April 28, ending his season-worst 10-game stretch without a long ball. The outfielder is batting .255 with a .793 OPS, 10 homers, 15 steals, 29 RBI and 31 runs scored over 39 contests this season, providing well-rounded production in the counting stats.

Chandler allowed two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out three over five innings in a no-decision versus the Giants on Sunday.

Chandler had taken three straight losses coming into Sunday, allowing 11 runs over 14 innings in that span. He was a little better in this contest, which saw him match his season low for walks. Chandler now has a 4.62 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 34:27 K:BB through 39 innings over eight starts. The right-hander's 6.2 BB/9 is the primary issue holding him back from more consistent success on the mound. He's tentatively projected to make his next start at home versus the Phillies.

Bleday went 1-for-2 with a two-run triple, two walks and a stolen base during the Reds' 5-0 win over the Astros on Sunday.

Bleday put the Reds on the board with a two-run triple in the fourth inning before being brought home on a Tyler Stephenson single on the next at-bat. It was the second time this season that Bleday reached base safely three times in a game, and he is slashing .262/.392/.643 with one steal, four home runs and nine RBI across 51 plate appearances this year.
