Miller picked up a save against the Cardinals on Saturday, allowing two walks and striking out four batters over 1.1 hitless and scoreless innings.

Miller came into Saturday having recorded more than three outs just once over 17 appearances. However, he was called upon in the eighth frame with a St. Louis runner on second base and two outs. Miller ended the inning by inducing a groundout and unsurprisingly was back on the mound for the ninth. He got himself into a bit of trouble with a pair of walks, then uncorked a wild pitch on a strikeout to allow the batter to reach first base and load the bases, but Miller ultimately escaped with the save by getting JJ Wetherholt to strike out. The All-Star closer has been utterly dominant so far this season, going 12-for-12 on save chances while allowing just two earned runs and racking up an absurd 38:5 K:BB over 18.2 innings spanning 18 outings.

Roupp (5-3) allowed one run on three hits and three walks while striking out eight over four-plus innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Pirates.

Roupp had a decent performance, but he struggled with his command and racked up 94 pitches (60 strikes). That led to a fairly early exit, and the Giants' bullpen ranged from shaky to full-blown disaster, giving the team's offense no chance to get Roupp off the hook. The eight strikeouts were a season high for the right-hander despite the short start. He's at a 3.09 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 51:19 K:BB through 43.2 innings across eight starts this season. Roupp is projected to make his next appearance in a tough road matchup versus the Dodgers.

Cruz went 3-for-6 with a stolen base and three runs scored in Saturday's 13-3 win over the Giants.

Cruz was in a bit of a slump prior to Saturday, going 1-for-14 with two walks and four strikeouts over his previous four games. He broke out with a strong game atop the order, which included his third steal in the last four games. Cruz is now hitting .256 with a .783 OPS, nine home runs, 28 RBI, 29 runs scored, 14 steals and six doubles across 38 contests. He's made some gains in power without sacrificing speed on the basepaths, but Cruz's 33.7 percent strikeout rate remains alarmingly high, especially for a leadoff hitter.

Bart went 4-for-5 with two RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's 13-3 win over the Giants.

Bart did some damage in his old stomping grounds, helping to keep the line moving at the bottom of the order. He's gone 9-for-20 (.450) over his last six games, adding three RBI and five runs scored in that span. Overall, Bart is batting .259 with a .669 OPS, two home runs, six RBI, nine runs scored and no stolen bases over 62 plate appearances this season. He had been in a part-time role earlier in the season, but Bart's recent success at the dish has earned him more opportunities to start over the struggling Henry Davis.

Gonzales went 4-for-6 with a double and a run scored in Saturday's 13-3 win over the Giants.

Gonzales' bat had been cooling off earlier in the week, as he entered Saturday on an 0-for-11 skid. He bounced back with his first four-hit game of the season, which was his third multi-hit effort of May. The infielder has made consistent contact eary this year, batting .323 with a .758 OPS, 17 RBI, 16 runs scored, three stolen bases and six doubles across 36 contests. He has yet to hit a home run, though he's never been a major power threat with no more than seven long balls in a big-league season. Gonzales has earned a near full-time role this season, playing at third base against right-handed pitchers and at second against southpaws.

Vasquez (4-1) earned the win over St. Louis on Saturday, allowing one run on six hits and no walks while striking out six batters over five innings.

Vasquez surrendered just one extra-base hit in the contest -- a fourth-inning Nathan Church double that also produced the lone run against the hurler. He needed 94 pitches to get through five frames, which prevented Vasquez from pushing toward a quality start, but this was otherwise a strong outing by the right-hander. Vasquez had stepped back a bit in his previous two starts, yielding a combined eight runs over 10.2 frames, but he began the season strongly and still carries a nice 3.05 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 42:13 K:BB through 44.1 innings spanning eight starts. He's been huge for the Padres' rotation this season and is next lined up for a road tilt in Milwaukee.

Ashcraft (2-2) allowed one run on six hits and struck out six without walking a batter over seven innings to earn the win Saturday over the Giants.

Ashcraft has gone seven frames in three of his last four starts, though this was his first win in that span. He's picked up five quality starts in eight outings this season, his first as a full-time starter in the majors. The 26-year-old is at a 2.77 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 51:14 K:BB through 48.2 innings this year and seems to be trending up with his recent performances. He is projected to make his next start at home versus the Phillies.

Montgomery went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's win over the Mariners.

Montgomery went deep in the bottom of the first with a two-run shot off Luis Castillo, his 10th long ball of the campaign. The shortstop has been one of the most consistent offensive forces in the White Sox lineup this season. Aside from becoming the team's second player to reach double-digit homers behind Munetaka Murakami's 15, Montgomery also has a strong .827 OPS and 28 RBI through 39 games in 2026.

Vargas went 2-for-3 with two home runs, a walk, three RBI and a strikeout in Saturday's win over the Mariners.

Vargas went yard in the third inning off Luis Castillo, and he repeated the dose in the fifth frame against reliever Josh Simpson. This was Vargas' first multi-homer performance of the season, and he is now up to nine long balls while racking up an .840 OPS with 21 RBI, 28 runs and six steals across 38 games.

Jung went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's win over the Cubs.

Jung was one of three players who recorded multi-hit performances for the Rangers in this win, and the third baseman left his mark with a solo shot in the bottom of the second. This three-hit performance snapped a mini 0-for-12 slump for Jung, who preceded that downturn at the plate with a 13-game hitting streak. Jung is now hitting .319 with an .891 OPS, five homers, 20 RBI and 15 runs on the season.
