Soriano (5-2) took the loss against the White Sox on Monday, allowing five runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out five batters over four innings.

Soriano got off to a blazing start to the season -- in fact, he was recently recognized as the AL Pitcher of the Month for April. However, the right-hander couldn't sustain that success against the White Sox in his first real stumble of the campaign. Soriano gave up two runs in the first inning, then served up a pair of homers accounting for three total runs in the fourth. He ended up finishing just four frames, marking his shortest start of the season, while the five runs he surrendered were a campaign-worst mark. Soriano got through his first six starts spanning 37.2 frames having allowed just one homer, but he's now given up four long balls over his past two starts. He still carries a sterling 1.74 ERA overall, and he'll look to get back on track the next time he takes the mound, which is projected to be a road start in Toronto.

Martin (5-1) earned the win over the Angels on Monday, allowing five hits and striking out 10 batters without issuing a walk over seven scoreless innings.

Martin has had a great season so far, and this was his best performance to date. The right-hander not only established a career-best mark with 10 punchouts, he also tied his career high with 19 whiffs (nine of which came on his slider). Martin needed just 85 pitches to get through seven frames, registering his fifth quality start through seven outings. Since yielding three runs over five innings in his season debut against Miami, Martin hasn't surrendered more than two runs in any of his subsequent six starts, and he's gone at least 5.2 frames in each of those appearances. His numbers put him among the top pitchers in MLB so far this season, as he currently ranks third among qualified starters in ERA (1.64) while posting a 1.02 WHIP and 43:8 K:BB along with a 5-1 record through 44 innings.

Pagan (2-1) was charged with the loss and a blown save Monday against the Cubs, allowing two runs on two hits and no walks in two-thirds of an inning. He struck out one.

Summoned to protect a 3-2 lead in the ninth inning, Pagan gave up a leadoff triple to Pete Crow-Armstrong before eventually serving up a walk-off solo home run to Michael Conforto. It was Pagan's third blown save of the season, which perhaps leaves the door open for someone like Tony Santillan or Graham Ashcraft to see more save chances for the Reds going forward. Through 14 innings, Pagan owns a rough 6.43 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 11:6 K:BB with six saves.

Ohtani won't be in the lineup as a hitter Tuesday, but he will start on the mound against Houston, Jack Harris of the California Post reports.

Manager Dave Roberts stated after Monday's game that he was initially going to have Ohtani hit as well Tuesday, but he's since changed his made. The Dodgers have made it a point to give Ohtani a day off when they can, even if it means limiting him to pitching only on his turn through the rotation. It's fair to expect the two-way star to be back in the starting lineup for Wednesday's series finale.

Cabrera didn't factor into the decision Monday against the Reds, allowing three runs on nine hits and two walks in six innings. He struck out eight.

Despite serving up a pair of homers Monday, the 28-year-old right-hander continues to provide the Cubs with length on a steady basis. Not only did Cabrera fan a season-high eight, but he worked at least five innings in his seventh straight start to open the year. While he has given up at least six hits and three runs in five consecutive outings, Cabrera will still take a solid 3.27 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 37:14 K:BB over 41.1 frames into his next scheduled appearance in Texas.

Petty didn't factor into the decision Monday against the Cubs, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks in 5.2 innings. He struck out one.

Facing a formidable Cubs lineup, Petty held his own in a spot start during his season debut Monday. The 23-year-old right-hander fired 51 of his 75 pitches for strikes, but Seiya Suzuki did take him deep for a three-run home run in the fourth inning. The Reds are planning to get Nick Lodolo (finger) back from the injured list this weekend, therefore Petty's next start figures to come back with Triple-A Louisville.

Diaz is expected to be placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday due to a left oblique injury, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Diaz was scratched from the starting lineup ahead of Monday's 8-3 loss to the Dodgers due to what had been referred to as a left abdominal injury, but Astros manager Joe Espada clarified after the game that the backstop will miss some time due to an oblique issue. Christian Vazquez can be expected to serve as the primary catcher while Diaz recovers.

Judge went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, a walk and an additional run scored in Monday's 12-1 win over the Orioles.

The superstar outfielder continued to surge, racking up a season-high four RBI on Monday. Judge has smacked five homers in his past eight games, during which he's recorded five multi-hit efforts as well. Through 158 plate appearances, Judge is slashing a robust .272/.409/.648 with 14 long balls, five doubles, 27 RBI and five stolen bases.

Schlittler (5-1) notched the win Monday against the Orioles, allowing one run on seven hits and three walks in 5.2 innings. He struck out four.

Despite walking a season-high three batters and fanning a season-low four, the hard-throwing right-hander still delivered another strong outing overall. It was the sixth time this year that Schlittler pitched at least five frames while yielding one earned run or zero, and he fell one out short of what could've been his fourth straight quality start. Schlittler will bring an outstanding 1.52 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 53:9 K:BB over 47.1 innings into his next scheduled outing in Milwaukee.

Olivares was activated from the 7-day injured list April 21.

Olivares had a delayed start to the season as he finished up rehabbing from offseason elbow surgery. He's been a bit wild to begin the 2026 campaign at Double-A Wichita, where he's accumulated a 3.86 ERA and 2.14 WHIP with a 6:8 K:BB across seven innings.
