May (3-3) took the loss Sunday against the Dodgers, allowing three runs on seven hits and two walks with three strikeouts across six innings.

After getting tagged for 13 runs across 7.1 innings in his first two starts of the season, May has posted four quality starts in his last five tries. The right-hander dealt with plenty of traffic on the bases early Sunday, but he generated three double plays in the first four innings. May has plus stuff, but he's not getting many strikeouts, with just a 25:9 K:BB and 5.15 ERA across 36.2 innings. He's in the third percentile in whiff rate despite averaging 97.0 mph with his fastball. May has pitched better than his results and is lined up to take on the Padres in San Diego during next weekend's four-game set.

Kim went 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Cardinals.

Kim singled home a run in the second inning and singled again and scored in the fifth. With lefty Justin Bruihl on the mound for St. Louis in the seventh, Miguel Rojas pinch-hit for Kim, who pushed his slash line to .317/.382/.417 with one homer, eight RBI, eight runs scored, five stolen bases and a 7:13 BB:K across 68 plate appearances this season. Kim should continue to see somewhat regular playing time while Mookie Betts (oblique) works his way back.

Freeman went 2-for-5 with a double and RBI in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Cardinals.

Freeman singled home a run in the fifth inning and hit his eighth double of the season in the eighth. Freeman had hits in all three games of the weekend set in St. Louis, going 5-for-13 at the dish. He's hit safely in five of his last six contests and is slashing .271/.333/.419 with three home runs, 16 RBI, 12 runs scored and an 11:17 BB:K across 141 plate appearances on the season.

Wynns went 0-for-3 with a run scored and a walk in Sunday's win over Cleveland.

With Shea Langeliers away from the team following the birth of his child, Wynns drew a rare start behind the dish Sunday but was largely unable to capitalize, reaching base only once via a walk in the sixth inning. The 35-year-old has appeared in 13 games this season, going 3-for-35 (.086) with three singles and three walks. With an off day Monday, Langeliers is likely to return to the lineup for Tuesday's series opener in Philadelphia, sending Wynns back to a reserve role.

Leiter (1-3) allowed five runs on five hits and a walk while striking out 10 over 6.2 innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Tigers.

Leiter threw 73 of 100 pitches for strikes, but the Tigers were able to string some offense together against him from the fifth inning on. He's now allowed at least three runs in each of his last five outings, but he was able to limit walks in this game. For the season, Leiter has a 5.45 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 43:13 K:BB through 38 innings across seven starts. The 26-year-old right-hander has strikeout upside and strong potential if he can keep the walks down. He also needs to work on the homers, as he's given up four of them over his last two starts. Leiter's next start is projected to come at home versus the Cubs.

McNeil went 2-for-4 with a three-RBI double in Sunday's win over Cleveland.

With the bases loaded in the sixth inning, McNeil smashed a bases-clearing double into right field to extend the Athletics' lead to 7-1, which would hold as the final score. The second baseman has been swinging a hot bat of late, slashing .409/.440/.545 with three doubles, six RBI and one run over his past seven games, raising the veteran's season OPS to .801. It has been a strong year in the batting average department for McNeil, who's hitting north of .300 (.314) for the first time since 2022, when he won the National League batting title and hit .326 across 148 regular-season contests with the Mets.

Hurter (4-0) allowed two hits and a walk while striking out two over 3.1 scoreless innings to earn the win over the Rangers on Sunday.

Hurter was given bulk-relief duties in this bullpen game, and he delivered a strong performance. He entered the contest in the third inning and had his longest outing of the season, throwing 26 of 38 pitches for strikes. He's kept runs off the board over his last four games, covering eight innings with a 5:1 K:BB in that span. For the season, Hurter has a 1.50 ERA, 0.78 WHIP and 12:4 K:BB across 18 innings as a multi-inning reliever. Casey Mize (thigh) and Justin Verlander (hip) are not close to returning, but the Tigers will be able to get by on a four-man rotation for most of the next two weeks, which limits Hurter's potential to rack up wins if the team doesn't use a bullpen game again for a while.

Scott picked up the save in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Cardinals, striking out two in a scoreless and hitless ninth inning.

Facing the bottom of the St. Louis lineup, Scott set down Jose Fermin, Nathan Church and Pedro Pages in order on 13 pitches. Scott is now 2-for-2 in save opportunities since Edwin Diaz underwent elbow surgery, knocking him out for multiple months. On the season, Scott has a 1.88 ERA and 15:2 K:BB across 14.1 innings. The left-hander is in the 100th percentile in chase rate and has cut his walks-per-nine in half from the 2025 regular season.

Thomas went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Sunday's win over the Guardians.

Before being pinch-hit for by Lawrence Butler in the sixth inning, Thomas opened the scoring with a scorching solo homer in the second inning. It marked the first extra-base hit of the season for the 25-year-old, who opened the year with Triple-A Las Vegas before being recalled April 22. The outfielder has seen limited playing time with the big-league club, primarily getting looks against lefties, and has gone 4-for-15 (.267) with two RBI, one run scored and two walks across six appearances.

Garcia went 1-for-5 with a stolen base in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Mariners.

Garcia has hit safely in five of his last six games, going 8-for-27 (.296) with five extra-base hits in that span. The infielder is batting .270 with a .762 OPS, three home runs, 13 RBI, 18 runs scored, four stolen bases, nine doubles and a triple over 32 contests. Garcia has stolen at least 23 bases over each of the last three years, so the potential is there for him to run more frequently as the season progresses.
