The Angels placed O'Hoppe on the 10-day injured list Sunday due to a left wrist fracture.
O'Hoppe departed Saturday's game against the Royals after being struck by a foul tip behind the plate. The 26-year-old is without an official timeline for his return, but it seems likely he'll be sidelined beyond the 10-day minimum. Travis d'Arnaud should step in as the Halos' primary catcher while O'Hoppe is on the shelf. Sebastian Rivero was called up Sunday to take over the backup job.

The Rockies recalled Castano from Triple-A Albuquerque to serve as the 27th man for Sunday's doubleheader against the Mets.
Castano was claimed off waivers from Seattle on Tuesday and will now receive his first look in the majors with his new organization. The right-hander has allowed one earned run over 7.1 innings at Triple-A between Albuquerque and Tacoma.

Mets' Austin Warren: Up for twin bill
The Mets recalled Warren from Triple-A Syracuse to serve as the 27th man for Sunday's doubleheader against the Rockies, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
Warren was demoted to Syracuse on Thursday but will briefly rejoin the big club for the doubleheader. The right-hander has given up an earned run with a 4:0 K:BB across 1.2 frames in his two outings with the Mets this year.

Nationals' Andre Granillo: Rejoins big club
The Nationals recalled Granillo from Triple-A Rochester on Sunday.
The right-hander opened the campaign in Washington's bullpen but was demoted in early April after giving up six earned runs in his first five outings of the season. Granillo also struggled at Rochester with an 18.00 ERA and 6:6 K:BB over five innings, so he may not be up in the majors for long.

The Nationals recalled Schultz from Triple-A Rochester on Sunday.
The right-hander was sent to Rochester last weekend but will quickly rejoin the big club with Clayton Beeter (forearm) landing on the injured list. Schultz has given up four earned runs with a 7:1 K:BB over eight MLB innings this season and should fill a low-leverage relief role while up with the Nationals.

Schmitt is slashing .295/.341/.513 with 10 RBI, eight runs scored and one stolen base across 85 plate appearances in 21 outings this season.

Overall, he's slashing .277/.320/.426 with 14 RBI, 11 runs scored and three home runs across 100 plate appearances in 26 games.
