Sogard is not in the lineup for Monday's contest versus the Angels.

Sogard will receive a day of rest after starting each of the last 36 games. Isiah Kiner-Falefa will slot in at second base for the Red Sox in Monday's series opener.

Foscue started at second base and went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Sunday's 8-6 win over Tampa Bay.

Per usual, Foscue was in the lineup against a left-handed starter, and he delivered a game-tying double in the fourth inning to erase the Rays' early lead. He's hit safely in five straight games, going 5-for-14 with two doubles, one home run and five RBI during that streak. When not starting, he's often a mid-game replacement when opponents bring in a lefty reliever.

Bello will start Monday's game against the Angels.

Despite thriving out of the bullpen this season with a 2.03 ERA and 1.03 WHIP over 62 innings, Bello will be deployed in a traditional starting role for the first time since June 4. In his prior eight starts, Bello has struggled mightily, logging a 10.35 ERA and 2.22 WHIP. Bello threw 69 pitches in his most recent relief appearance and threw 94 in the outing prior to that, so he's stretched out enough to provide significant length.

DeLauter (wrist) is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Orioles, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

The Guardians will hold DeLauter out of the starting nine for a third straight contest while he tends to a sprained right wrist. According to MLB.com, DeLauter was expected to test out his wrist Sunday by swinging a bat, but it's not clear how he fared in that workout. Angel Martinez will draw the start in right field Monday and would stand to benefit the most from a playing-time standpoint if DeLauter requires a trip to the injured list.

Young is not in the lineup for Monday's game in Miami.

It's a rare day out of the lineup against a righty for Young, who is sporting a .794 OPS versus right-handed pitching this season. He will yield to Brett Baty at first base.

Lord yielded one run on four hits and one walk over 1.2 innings of relief in Sunday's 7-5 loss to the Dodgers.

Coming off an impressive 3.1-inning start Wednesday in which he struck out six and kept Atlanta off the board, Lord was back in the bullpen for the final game of the Nationals' series in Los Angeles. He needed 39 pitches to record his five outs, with the hefty workload he handled presumably taking him out of the mix to start when the fifth spot in the Washington rotation comes up again Tuesday in San Diego.

Dion dropped to 1-2 on the season and was charged with a blown save in Sunday's 7-5 loss to the Dodgers after giving up three earned runs on two hits and two walks across two innings. He struck out three batters.

Dion tossed three scoreless innings while making his first MLB start in his previous appearance Aug. 31 against the Marlins, but his usage in relief Sunday likely takes him out of the mix to start when the fifth spot in the Washington rotation comes up again this week. Tasked with protecting a 5-4 lead when he entered the game in the bottom of the seventh, Dion walked the first batter he faced but then struck out the next three batters he faced to close out the frame. He then retired the first two batters he faced in the eighth, but he was stuck with the loss after surrendering a base hit and a walk before Mookie Betts took him yard for a three-run blast to give Los Angeles the lead.

Bazzana went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and was caught stealing in Sunday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the Tigers.

Bazzana hit the second of back-to-back doubles in the first inning to knock in the Guardians' first run. He later singled in the eighth inning to give him a third straight two-hit game. Bazzana is 6-for-15 with two doubles, a home run and five RBI in six September contests.

The Mets optioned Hagenman to Triple-A Syracuse on Monday.

Hagenman had spent all season on the injured list while recovering from a fractured rib before he was activated last Wednesday. The 29-year-old righty made two appearances (one start) during his abbreviated stay with the Mets, giving up two runs on three hits and one walk while striking out two batters across four innings. He'll give up his spot on the 28-man active roster to right-hander Jonah Tong, who was recalled from Triple-A ahead of his start Monday in Miami.

Tong is set to make his first start for the Mets this season Monday in Miami, and he's a good bet to receive additional starts down the stretch of the regular season. The right-hander has logged a pedestrian 4.54 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 126:59 K:BB over 107 innings with Syracuse this season, but he held a 2.39 ERA in August and was scoreless over his last two outings.
