The Guardians recalled Allen from Triple-A Columbus on Saturday, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Allen has spent the majority of the season at Columbus, turning in a 4.37 ERA and 1.42 WHIP with a 112:35 K:BB across 94.2 innings. He'll now rejoin the big club to presumably provide length out of the bullpen, replacing Franco Aleman.

Marte (knee) isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Atlanta.

Marte was pulled from Friday's game after aggravating a knee injury that had been bothering him for about a week. He'll take another day off Saturday to recover, giving Ildemaro Vargas a start at second base.

Goodman was scratched from the lineup for Saturday's game against the Giants due to left shoulder inflammation.

The severity of Goodman's issue is still unknown, but it will cause him to miss at least Saturday's contest. Brett Sullivan will step in behind the plate and bat eighth.

Gonsolin (elbow) threw a three-inning, 45-pitch live batting practice session in Arizona on Friday, Jaylon T. Thompson of The Kansas City Star reports.

Gonsolin, who underwent Tommy John surgery with an internal brace in his right elbow in August 2025, inked a one-year deal with the Royals on Thursday as his recovery nears its final stages. Provided the right-hander doesn't experience any renewed discomfort, Kansas City hopes to send him on a rehab assignment soon. In 86 career outings with the Dodgers, Gonsolin posted a 3.34 ERA and 1.08 WHIP across 411.2 innings, though injuries have been a recurring issue for the 32-year-old.

Rodriguez isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Marlins.

Rodriguez will miss a second consecutive start after notching just two hits in 23 at-bats across his first eight games in the big leagues. Noelvi Marte will pick up another start in right field and bat seventh.

Lowe went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Friday in a loss to the Royals.

Lowe had a big moment when he swatted a solo homer in the sixth inning to break a 5-5 tie, but Kansas City ultimately came back and pulled out the victory. The long ball ended an 18-game stretch without a homer for Lowe, though many of his plate appearances during that span came as a pinch hitter or following entrance as a defensive replacement. With that said, Lowe has started each of the Angels' past three games, and his playing time has ticked up overall since Jo Adell was traded to Cleveland in early August.

Springs (hip) allowed three runs (one earned) on five hits and no walks with four strikeouts over three innings with Single-A Stockton on Friday.

Springs returned to game action for the first time since landing on the injured list Aug. 4 due to right hip discomfort, throwing 41 of 59 pitches for strikes. It remains to be seen if he'll make another rehab appearance before returning to the active roster, though the southpaw's poor results this year make it far from a guarantee that he'll reclaim a spot in the starting rotation. In 22 starts this season, Springs has posted a 3-11 record with a 6.17 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 88:44 K:BB across 108 innings.

Campusano went 2-for-5 with two doubles and three RBI in a 7-5 victory versus the Guardians on Friday.

Campusano came up with two big hits Friday -- a two-run double in the fifth inning to give San Diego its first lead and an RBI double in the seventh to provide an insurance run. The 27-year-old logged his fifth multi-hit effort over his past 11 contests, a span during which he's slashing a sizzling .410/.465/.590 with one homer, four doubles and 10 RBI. Campusano was replaced behind the plate by Freddy Fermin in the ninth inning, as Fermin remains the far superior defensive catcher. However, Campusano's bat has been so potent that he's started at catcher more often than Fermin of late.

Mesa (hamstring) isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Baltimore, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Mesa was pulled from Friday's contest due to tightness in his left hamstring, and he'll take a day off Saturday to heal. Jonny DeLuca will fill in as Tampa Bay's right fielder and bat sixth.

Robert isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Nationals.

Robert will grab a seat on the bench Saturday after recording at least one hit in five of his last six games, going 6-for-20 with two homers, five RBI and two runs scored in that span. Brett Baty, A.J. Ewing and Carson Benge will start across the outfield while Robert rests.
