Naylor went 3-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a stolen base in a loss to the Athletics on Monday.

Naylor knocked in a run in the first inning with his first double of the season. He added two more knocks (including another double) to finish with his first multi-hit game of the campaign. To add to his big night, Naylor stole his first base of the season following an eighth-inning single. He was a big surprise in the theft department when he collected a career-high 30 stolen bases during the regular season last year, but this was Naylor's first attempt in 2026. That's partly because he hasn't gotten on base much -- entering Monday, he was batting just .146 with a .231 OBP. Naylor is still at a poor .174 batting average even after Monday's big effort, but he may be turning things around, as he's gone 6-for-10 with two walks over his past three contests.

Cortes went 4-for-5 with a solo home run in Monday's 6-4 win against Seattle.

Cortes opened the scoring for the Athletics with a 379-foot solo shot in the fourth inning. He added three singles to finish with his first career four-hit performance. Cortes didn't play much early in the campaign but has started five of the A's past six games, either in left field or right field or at DH. He rarely hits against lefties (Cortes has just two plate appearances against southpaws this season and has gone 2-for-2) but has shown himself to be very capable of hitting big-league pitching, posting a .333/.417/.548 slash line with two home runs, seven RBI and a 6:2 BB:K through 48 total plate appearances.

Hancock allowed three runs on seven hits and no walks while striking out three batters over five-plus innings in a no-decision against the Athletics on Monday.

Hancock held the A's to just one run (on a Carlos Cortes solo homer) through five frames, but he then served up back-to-back solo shots to Nick Kurtz and Shea Langeliers in the sixth before being pulled. It was just the second time through five outings that Hancock has been unable to complete six frames, and Monday marked the first time the right-hander has served up more than one long ball in a contest. Hancock has opened the campaign pitching quite well, posting a 2.83 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 28:4 K:BB through 28.2 innings.

Kuhnel picked up a save against the Mariners on Monday, allowing one run on two hits over one inning.

Kuhnel was called upon in the ninth inning to protect a three-run lead. He gave up a single and a double to allow a run to score but was ultimately able to finish off the A's victory. The run was the first charged to Kuhnel this season, and the pair of hits were as many as he'd given up across his first six appearances. With four saves over his past five outings and no blown saves on the season, Kuhnel appears to have a solid grasp on the team's closer role despite fanning just three batters over seven total innings.

Ginn allowed three runs on six hits and one walk while striking out six batters over 5.1 innings in a no-decision against Seattle on Monday.

Ginn fell behind quickly, giving up a pair of runs in the first inning and another in the second. He was able to settle down from there, however, keeping the Mariners out of the scoring column the rest of the way. Ginn's six punchouts were a season high, and he issued just one free pass after walking four batters in his previous outing. The right-hander began the season in the bullpen but has now worked as a starter in each of his past three appearances. In those three starts, he's allowed five runs over a combined 14.2 frames while posting a 13:6 K:BB.

Guerrero went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored against the Angels in a 5-2 victory Monday.

Guerrero put Toronto on the board with a two-run blast in the third inning. He added two singles to notch his second three-hit game in as many days and extend his hitting streak to 11 contests. Guerrero is tied for fourth in the majors with 29 hits through 22 games and has posted a .354/.442/.488 slash line with two home runs, 12 RBI, 11 runs and one stolen base.

Neto went 1-for-3 with a walk, a run and two stolen bases in Monday's loss to the Blue Jays.

Neto essentially manufactured a run on his own when he walked, stole a base and scored on a sacrifice fly in the third inning. The talented young shortstop swiped another bag later in the game to push his total to four thefts (on seven attempts) on the season. Neto also have five homers, 11 RBI, 19 runs and a .247/.375/.462 slash line through 112 plate appearances.

Detmers (1-2) took the loss against Toronto on Monday, allowing four runs on five hits and two walks while striking out five batters over six-plus innings.

Detmers fell behind in the second inning when he served up a two-run homer to Vladimir Guerrero Jr. The left-handed hurler got through the following three frames without incident but then gave up another run in the sixth. Detmers took the mound for the start of the seventh but walked the first batter he faced before being lifted, and the runner he put on base eventually came around to score. This wasn't Detmers' most impressive outing, but on a positive note, he completed six frames for the third time through his first five starts. His transition back to a starting role this season has gone mostly well so far, as Detmers holds a 4.08 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 31:8 K:BB through 28.2 innings.

Hoffman notched a save against the Angels on Monday, allowing one hit and striking out three batters over a scoreless inning of work.

Hoffman entered with a three-run lead in the ninth inning and gave up a single to the first batter he faced. However, the right-hander proceeded to strike out the following three hitters to close out the contest. This was a much-needed performance for Hoffman after he picked up a loss and a blown save while yielding six runs over 1.2 innings across his previous two appearances. Manager John Schneider has expressed confidence in Hoffman as the team's closer, and at least for Monday, that confidence appeared justified.

Cease (1-0) earned the win over the Angels on Monday, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out 12 batters over five innings.

Cease needed 110 pitches to get through five frames, but that's largely because Angels hitters had a hard time putting his pitches in play. Of the 15 outs the right-hander recorded, 12 came via punchouts, and Cease racked up a whopping 18 total whiffs. The big performance helped Cease earn his first win as a Blue Jay, though he's pitched well enough this season to deserve more. Through five starts, Cease has posted a 2.10 ERA and 1.29 WHIP across 25.2 frames. He also leads MLB with 44 punchouts and has yet to serve up a home run.
