Buehler allowed one run on three hits and two walks while striking out six over five innings in a no-decision versus the Yankees on Friday.

Buehler fared well in a tough matchup, limiting the damage to a Ben Rice solo home run in the third inning. Buehler has gone nine straight outings without allowing more than three runs, giving up a total of 17 runs (16 earned) over 47.1 innings in that span. The veteran right-hander is now at a 4.56 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 117:51 K:BB through 136.1 innings, but he's been sharp in the second half of the campaign. Buehler is projected for a home start versus the Nationals in his next outing.

Iglesias secured the save in Friday's 5-2 win over the Phillies, striking out two in a perfect ninth inning.

Iglesias entered Friday having logged just one punchout over his last four outings, but he opened the ninth inning by striking out the first two batters he faced before closing things out by getting Brandon Marsh to foul out to third. Iglesias is up to 30 saves in 2026, marking the sixth time he's recorded at least 30 saves in a season in his major-league career. He has a 2.77 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 54:16 K:BB over 52 innings this season.

Sanchez (16-5) took the loss against Atlanta on Friday, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks while striking out five across six innings.

Sanchez put the Phillies on the back foot early by allowing three runs in the second inning. He kept Atlanta off the board the rest of the way and secured a second straight quality start, but he didn't get quite enough run support from his Phillies teammates to avoid the loss, and his five punchouts were his fewest since July 6 against the Royals (one). Sanchez will take a 2.58 ERA and 1.20 WHIP over 181.1 innings into his next start, which lines up for next week at home against the Astros.

Grisham will undergo imaging on his right hamstring after leaving Friday's game against the Padres, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports. "Not sure yet if it's an IL or not, but it certainly could be," manager Aaron Boone said.

Boone revealed that Grisham hurt his hamstring while attempting to steal second base in the second inning. The outfielder missed time earlier this season with an injury to the same hamstring. Spencer Jones moved to center field Friday following Grisham's exit, with Heliot Ramos entering the game in right -- perhaps a preview of the Yankees' regular outfield alignment, at least until Aaron Judge (ribs) returns.

Bohm went 2-for-4 with an RBI double and a solo home run during Friday's 5-2 loss to Atlanta.

The Phillies couldn't get to Chris Sale on Friday with the exception of Bohm, who drove in an RBI double in the second inning before taking the veteran southpaw deep to left field for a 358-foot solo homer in the fourth. Bohm has multi-hit games in back-to-back outings and has gone 18-for-57 (.316) with 15 RBI, four extra-base hits and 12 runs scored over his last 15 games.

Dubon went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored during Friday's 5-2 win over the Phillies.

Dubon gave Atlanta a three-run cushion after taking Orion Kerkering deep to left-center field for a 390-foot, two-run blast. It was Dubon's first home run since the All-Star break, bringing him up to 11 home runs on the year and surpassing a previous career high that he set in 2023 with the Astros. Dubon has a .702 OPS with seven steals, 66 RBI and 37 extra-base hits across 536 plate appearances this season.

Sale (14-9) earned the win against the Phillies on Friday, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk while striking out seven across six innings.

Both of the runs Sale gave up were to Alec Bohm, who hit an RBI double and a solo home run in the second and fourth innings, respectively. Those were the only blemishes to Sale's line Friday, with the veteran southpaw recording an eighth consecutive quality start -- recording at least six strikeouts in each of those outings -- and his 18 quality starts this season are tied for fifth most in the majors. Sale is showing no signs of slowing down in his age-37 season, as he ranks second in the National League in ERA (2.10), third in both wins (14) and WHIP (1.01) and fourth in strikeouts (184) across 150 innings. He's lined up to face the Rays at home next week.

Montes was removed from Friday's game against the Athletics with left hip soreness.

The 21-year-old crashed into the outfield wall while attempting to make a play on a Zack Gelof triple, which led to Montes exiting his third career MLB game. Though the Mariners have provided the location of Montes' injury, the full extent of the issue remains uncertain. Consider him day-to-day for now.

Johnson (3-8) took the loss against Pittsburgh on Friday, allowing one run on four hits and two walks while striking out six across six innings.

Johnson gave up an RBI double to Jake Mangum in the second inning, but it was an otherwise strong performance from the right-hander, who logged his third quality start of the season and second in his last three outings. Unfortunately for Johnson, his Angels teammates couldn't get on the board, leaving the 24-year-old to take the loss. Johnson has allowed only two earned runs over his last three starts (spanning 18 innings), and he'll take a 5.17 ERA and 1.39 WHIP over 78.1 frames into his next start, tentatively slated for next week against the Red Sox at Fenway Park.

Montgomery came away with the save in Friday's 1-0 win over the Angels, allowing one hit while striking out one batter in a scoreless ninth inning.

Friday's contest turned out to be a pitchers' duel between Jared Jones and Ryan Johnson, with Montgomery being called in for the ninth inning to protect Pittsburgh's one-run lead. He worked around a Mike Trout single to retire the side, finishing things off by getting Travis d'Arnaud to strike out looking. Montgomery has logged a save in back-to-back outings and is up to nine on the year with a 2.91 ERA and 1.06 WHIP over 58.2 innings. He has not allowed an earned run since July 26.
