Rave is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs.

He'll head to the bench for the second time in the series while the Royals roll out an outfield of Starling Marte, Kyle Isbel and Jac Caglianone from left to right. Rave has started eight of the last 10 games and produced an .846 OPS during that stretch, so he appears to have a grasp on at least a strong-side platoon role for the time being.

Collins is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs.

Collins will be given the afternoon off after going 3-for-17 with a double, two walks, an RBI and a run scored in the previous five contests. Starling Marte will take Collins' spot in left field and bat fifth.

Ramirez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.

Ramirez will head to the bench for a third straight matchup versus a right-handed pitcher, although the rookie still looks set to retain a regular spot against lefties. Tyrone Taylor will bat ninth as the center fielder Sunday while Pete Crow-Armstrong gets a day off from playing defense but stays in the lineup at designated hitter.

Jensen is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs.

Jensen has a .583 OPS over his past 18 contests and will take a seat Sunday after a run of 11 consecutive starts. Luke Maile will step in behind the plate to form a battery with starting pitcher Randy Dobnak in the series finale versus Chicago.

Kelly is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.

Kelly will get a day off after he started behind plate the previous two contests. Miguel Amaya will receive the nod at catcher and bat eighth for the series finale in Kansas City.

Grichuk will start in left field and bat cleanup in Sunday's game against the Guardians.

Grichuk will enter the lineup for the third time in four games, but each of those starts have come against left-handed pitching. The 34-year-old is slashing a scintillating .288/.336/.568 with seven home runs over 119 plate appearances against lefties for the season, but his .207/.203/.397 line against righties keeps him on the short side of a platoon.

Benintendi is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.

The left-handed-hitting Benintendi will head to the bench for the third time in the last four games, with each of those absences coming against southpaw starters. With Benintendi out of the lineup, Colson Montgomery will receive a turn as the White Sox's designated hitter.

The Rays placed Jax (elbow) on the 15-day injured list Sunday.

Jax was scratched from his scheduled start Saturday versus the Mariners due to right elbow discomfort, so the move to the injured list isn't much of a surprise. The Rays are still looking to find more information regarding the severity injury, as Jax is scheduled to meet with a doctor in Dallas on Wednesday for a second opinion, per Ryan Bass of Rays.tv. The 31-year-old will be eligible to be reinstated Aug. 21, though a longer absence could be in store given the nature of the injury.

Halpin is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.

Halpin is on the bench for a third straight game, but Sunday will mark the first time that the left-handed hitter has sat against a righty starter (Davis Martin) during that stretch. Though he's produced a serviceable .264/.298/.415 slash line since the All-Star break, Halpin could see his workload decline while the Guardians clear room in the lineup for rookie Angel Genao and the hot-hitting Angel Martinez.
