Double-A Northwest Arkansas transferred Lamkin from the 7-day injured list to the 60-day IL on June 10 while he recovers from an unspecified injury.

As a result of the transaction, Lamkin will remain out through at least the All-Star break. The 22-year-old lefty had been climbing up prospect lists after a hot start to the season, compiling a 2.04 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 53:14 K:BB in 39.2 innings over eight starts between Northwest Arkansas and High-A Quad Cities before being deactivated in late May.

Taylor (hip) will begin a rehab assignment at Double-A Binghamton on Friday, Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News reports.

Taylor landed on the injured list May 25 with a hip flexor strain but is now set to begin ramping up toward his return to the active roster. However, Carson Benge and A.J. Ewing have both cemented themselves as regular starters in New York's outfield, so Taylor will almost certainly be limited to a bench role once he comes off the IL.

Lindor (calf) will begin a rehab assignment at Double-A Binghamton on Friday, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Lindor has been on the shelf since late April due to a strained left calf, but after resuming full baseball activities last week, he's now been cleared to test his calf in minor-league games. The Mets expect the star shortstop to return to their lineup before the end of the month, so it doesn't seem like he's in line for a lengthy stay in the minors.

Lombard was placed on the 7-day injured list at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Thursday with sprained fingers on his left hand, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Lombard injured his hand while trying to tag a baserunner during Tuesday's game against Columbus. Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Thursday of Lombard that there were "good initial signs on the testing," but it's unclear how much time the top prospect will miss. Lombard began the season at Double-A Somerset and has slashed .231/.381/.385 with four home runs, eight stolen bases and a 35:42 BB:K in 42 games since being promoted to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Acton (shoulder) resumed throwing off a mound last week, MLB.com reports.

While the activity marks a step forward for Acton as he recovers from a right shoulder strain, Twins general manager Jeremy Zoll said Friday that the 28-year-old still has "a long road ahead of him" before returning from the 60-day injured list. Acton made four relief appearances for Minnesota and surrendered five runs (two earned) on four hits and three walks while striking out nine batters over 6.2 innings before landing on the IL in late April.

Jeffers (hand) began taking dry swings June 10, MLB.com reports.

In addition to swinging a bat, Jeffers has been able to do some throwing, running and catching drills since undergoing surgery May 20 to address a left hamate bone fracture. Over the next week or so, Jeffers is expected to gradually ramp up the intensity of his workouts, which will eventually include facing live pitching. He's without a definitive timeline to return from the 10-day injured list, but the expectation is that he'll be ready for activation at some point in July.

Nootbaar is absent from the lineup for Thursday's contest in Kansas City.

Since he returned from the injured list earlier this month, the left-handed-hitting Nootbaar has been out of the lineup each of the three times the Cardinals have faced a traditional lefty starter. However, it could be more about picking spots to rest Nootbaar following a long layoff than it is about him being in a platoon. Nelson Velazquez will play left field for St. Louis in the series opener.

Church is not in the lineup for Thursday's game in Kansas City.

Church made nine consecutive starts in center field after returning from the injured list June 9, but the left-handed hitter will take a seat for this one as the Royals send southpaw Noah Cameron to the hill. Jose Fermin will patrol center field for the Cardinals.

The Tigers will place Perez (face) on the 10-day injured list prior to Friday's game versus the White Sox, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Perez got hurt Tuesday in a weight room incident when he was struck in the face by a plyometric band. It's unclear what specific injury he is dealing with, but it will cost him at least the next week-plus of action. Trei Cruz will absorb Perez's spot on the Detroit roster.

Garcia (hand) remains out of the lineup for Thursday's game versus the Cardinals.

Garcia will miss a second straight start due to left hand soreness. The injury forced Garcia from Tuesday's game against the Nationals, but it's something he's dealt with off-and-on for the past month. Consider him day-to-day. Nick Loftin will get another start at third base in Garcia's stead.
