Dodgers' Cole Irvin: Moved to minor-league camp

Irvin was reassigned to minor-league camp Monday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Irvin signed a minor-league pact with the Dodgers in February and was invited to major-league spring training, but he struggled across four appearances. • Mike Siani CF | LAD

Dodgers' Michael Siani: Sent to Triple-A

Siani was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

  • Paul Gervase P | LAD

Dodgers' Paul Gervase: Optioned to Triple-A

Gervase was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Gervase fared well during his time with the big-league club this spring, as he turned in a 2.89 ERA and 0.86 WHIP with 11 strikeouts over 9.1 frames. However, it wasn't enough to earn himself a spot on the Opening Day roster. Gervase is in line to begin the 2026 campaign at Triple-A Oklahoma City, where he'll serve as bullpen depth.

  • Jack O'Loughlin: Signs with KBO team

The Samsung Lions of the Korean Baseball Organization signed O'Loughlin on Monday, Australian baseball reporter Eric Balnar reports.

O'Loughlin pitched for Team Australia in the World Baseball Classic and didn't allow an earned run across 6.1 innings. The 26-year-old left-hander appeared in four games for the Athletics during the 2024 campaign and pitched the second half of last season in the Australian Baseball League.

  • Johan Rojas CF | PHI

Phillies' Johan Rojas: Hit with 80-game suspension

MLB announced Monday that Rojas has been suspended 80 games for violating the league's policy against performance-enhancing drugs, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.

Word of Rojas' looming suspension came out earlier this month, and Rojas lost his appeal. He won't be eligible to play in the regular season until late June. With Rojas set to miss the first half of the season, Justin Crawford and Brandon Marsh should see somewhat regular playing time in the Philadelphia outfield. Rojas posted an underwhelming .569 OPS across 172 plate appearances at the big-league level last regular season.

  • Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE

Guardians' Jose Ramirez: No imaging on left shoulder

Guardians manager Stephen Vogt told reporters Monday that Ramirez is "feeling much, much better today" after the superstar third baseman left Sunday's Cactus League game against the Athletics due to left shoulder inflammation, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

"We're going to assess [Ramirez] day-by-day. He should be fine in a few days," Vogt relayed during Monday's presser. Stebbins notes that there are no plans for Ramirez to undergo imaging on his left shoulder. That indicates the injury is not considered a long-term concern by medical staff and puts the superstar third baseman on track for Opening Day.

  • Hagen Smith SP | CHW

White Sox's Hagen Smith: Moved to minor-league camp

The White Sox reassigned Smith to minor-league camp Monday.

The 22-year-old southpaw will open the 2026 season in the minors, likely with Double-A Birmingham. That's where he spent all of last year, posting a 3-3 record across 20 starts with a 3.57 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 108:56 K:BB across 75.2 innings. Per Kyle Williams of the Chicago Sun-Times, Smith will open the year in Triple-A and could make his major-league debut this season.

  • Justin Foscue 1B | TEX

Rangers' Justin Foscue: Optioned to Triple-A

The Rangers optioned Foscue to Triple-A Round Rock on Monday.

Foscue missed three weeks of action in spring training due to a strained right hamstring but progressed enough in his recovery to return to the lineup for Sunday's Cactus League game against the Dodgers, when he went 0-for-2 with one walk. He spent the vast majority of the 2025 season in Triple-A, where he slashed .261/.341/.474 with seven steals, 19 home runs and 68 RBI over 453 plate appearances. Foscue appeared in only four regular-season games for the Rangers last year, but he would be in line for a major-league call-up should Texas require more depth in the infield.
