  Robinson finished Monday's 102-88 loss to Boston in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one assist over three minutes. Robinson hit rock bottom in the loss, failing to score in only three minutes of playing time. It's a far cry from what he did during the regular season and highlights how unimpactful he can be. The Heat will now head back to Boston where they will attempt to extend the series beyond five games.

Robinson was unavailable for Miami's Play-In Tournament loss to Philadelphia but returned in a win-or-go-home contest versus Chicago on Friday, dropping eight points in 12 minutes of a blowout victory. He's a candidate to step into a larger workload Sunday, especially with Terry Rozier (neck) and Jimmy Butler (knee) out. However, the extent to which he'll play is unclear after experiencing aggravations with his ongoing facet syndrome in recent weeks.

Robinson returned from a four-game absence during Friday's Play-In victory over the Bulls and recorded eight points (3-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist across 12 minutes. His status for Sunday's playoff opener in Boston will presumably depend on how his back feels closer to tip-off. With Jimmy Butler (knee) and Terry Rozier (neck) sidelined, Robinson could see a healthy workload if his health is up to par.

• Heat's Duncan Robinson: Makes return in Play-In game

  Robinson (back) recorded eight points (3-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist across 12 minutes Friday in the Heat's 112-91 win over the Bulls in the Eastern Conference Play-In Tournament. Robinson missed the final four games of the regular season with left facet syndrome, but he was cleared to play in advance of the Heat's first game of the Play-In Tournament on Wednesday. He ultimately went unused in Wednesday's 105-104 loss to the 76ers, but a rotation spot opened up for Robinson on Friday due to Jimmy Butler (knee) being sidelined with an MCL sprain. Though Butler doesn't appear on track to return during the Heat's first-round playoff series with the Celtics, Robinson could be squeezed out of the rotation if Miami gets Terry Rozier (neck) back for Sunday's Game 1 in Boston.

  Robinson (back) is available for Friday's Play-In Game against Chicago, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Robinson was probable for Friday's matchup, so his availability isn't very surprising. However, he was also available for Wednesday's Play-In Game against the 76ers but didn't see any playing time. Jimmy Butler (knee) and Terry Rozier (neck) are both out, so Miami may need minutes of Robinson even if he isn't 100 percent.
