The Warriors announced Monday that Kuminga (ankle) has resumed on-court workouts and will be re-evaluated in 10 days. As expected, Kuminga won't be back in action before the All-Star break while he continues to recover from the significant right ankle sprain he sustained Jan. 4. The 22-year-old forward has been ramping up in on-court workouts, however, and could be ready to play as soon as Feb. 21 against the Kings. Kuminga appeared in 32 games (10 starts) prior to his extended absence, averaging 16.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.3 three-pointers in 26.0 minutes per contest.

The Warriors announced Monday that Kuminga (ankle) will be re-evaluated in two weeks. Kuminga has missed the Warriors' last 11 games, and head coach Steve Kerr said Saturday that the forward wasn't close to a return. While Kuminga won't be re-evaluated until around mid-February, he's making good progress in his recovery from a sprained right ankle and is expected to begin light on-court individual workouts within the next week.

Head coach Steve Kerr said Saturday that Kuminga is not close to returning from a right ankle sprain that he suffered in early January, Sam Gordon of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. Kuminga suffered a lateral right ankle sprain against the Grizzlies on Jan. 4. He hasn't progressed in his recovery as well as hoped, and Kerr relayed that Kuminga has recently been working on stationary shooting and riding an exercise bike. Moses Moody has been the biggest beneficiary of Kuminga's absence in terms of playing time, and the former should continue to see meaningful minutes off the bench due to the latter's absence.

Kuminga (ankle) wasn't wearing a walking boot Wednesday but remains in the middle stages of his recovery, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports. Kuminga suffered a significant lateral right ankle sprain Jan. 4 and was set for re-evaluation three weeks after the injury. He had been wearing a walking boot since but was spotted Wednesday without it for the first time. Kuminga is still not close to returning, and the update doesn't necessarily mean he's ahead of schedule. However, it's worth noting he has been making progress in his recovery.

Kuminga will be re-evaluated in three weeks after an MRI confirmed that he sustained a significant lateral right ankle sprain in Saturday's 121-113 win over the Grizzlies, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports. Head coach Steve Kerr had already been ruled Kuminga out for Sunday's game against the Kings, and after the young forward was sent in for tests, the Warriors learned they'll be without him for additional time beyond that. Given that the three-week timeline is merely a re-evaluation date, Kuminga's absence will most likely extend into February, and possibly through the All-Star break. Kyle Anderson, Moses Moody, Buddy Hield and Lindy Waters are all candidates to see increased playing time for as long as Kuminga is sidelined.
