Quickley will return to game action after missing Wednesday's win over Philadelphia due to rest purposes. The 25-year-old combo guard has made nine appearances since the All-Star break, averaging 20.6 points, 5.3 assists and 4.8 rebounds across 31.0 minutes per contest.

Quickley will get Wednesday night off for rest purposes, but the star guard should be able to return to Toronto's lineup for Friday's matchup against Utah. Jamal Shead is the most likely candidate to join the starting lineup in Quickley's stead Wendesday. Quickley has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Wizards for rest purposes, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports. Toronto held out Jakob Poeltl and RJ Barrett for rest in the front end of a back-to-back set in Friday's 118-109 win over the Jazz, and it'll be Quickley's turn to get some maintenance Saturday. Quickley starred in Friday's win, scoring a season-high 34 points (10-20 FG, 6-13 3Pt, 8-8 FT) to go with five rebounds, five assists and three steals across 29 minutes. Jamal Shead is the leading candidate to start at point guard in Quickley's stead Saturday, though the Raptors may also have forward Scottie Barnes serve in more of a playmaking role out of the backcourt.

Quickley finished Sunday's 104-102 victory over Orlando with 24 points (8-19 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), two rebounds and four assists over 33 minutes. Quickley has been playing at a high level since the end of the All-Star break and has reached the 20-point mark four times in his last six appearances. The floor general seems to be healthy, which has been the biggest knock on him this season. He's averaging a solid 20.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game since the end of the All-Star festivities.
