Jerome (calf) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Portland.

Jerome will be held out of the second leg of this back-to-back set due to right calf injury management. His next opportunity to play will come Saturday against the Clippers. The Grizzlies are set to be extremely shorthanded Wednesday, leaving significant minutes available for the likes of Walter Clayton, Cam Spencer and Javon Small.

Hendricks (illness) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game versus the Trail Blazers.

Hendricks is feeling under the weather and won't be able to give it a go Wednesday, so guys like Olivier-Maxence Prosper and GG Jackson should get all the run they can handle. For now, Hendricks should be considered questionable for Saturday's game against the Clippers.

Coward (knee) is out for Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers.

Coward will hit the sidelines for the second leg of this back-to-back set, but he should be able to get back out there for Saturday's meeting with the Clippers. With Coward out, expect more minutes for Walter Clayton, Jahmai Mashack and Cam Spencer.

Vucevic won't start Wednesday's game against the Hornets, Sean Grande of NBC Sports Boston reports.

With Neemias Queta (rest) back in the lineup, Vucevic will slide to the second unit. Over his last five appearances off the bench, the veteran big man has averaged 11.6 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 21.8 minutes per contest.

Watford will start Wednesday versus Utah, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.

Kelly Oubre (illness), VJ Edgecombe (back) and Joel Embiid (oblique) are all unavailable for Wednesday's game, so head coach Nick Nurse will trot out a starting lineup featuring Watford, Tyrese Maxey, Quentin Grimes, Dominick Barlow and Adem Bona. Across five starts this season, Watford has produced averages of 10.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists per contest.

Gonzalez won't start against the Hornets on Wednesday, Sean Grande of NBC Sports Boston reports.

With Jaylen Brown (illness) back in the lineup, Gonzalez will revert to a bench role. The rookie first-rounder has averaged 4.7 points and 3.2 rebounds in 13.8 minutes per game over his last six appearances off the bench.

Bona will start Wednesday's game against the Jazz, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.

Andre Drummond started Philadelphia's last two games due to Joel Embiid (oblique) being sidelined, though Bona will get the starting nod at center Wednesday. As a starter this season (four games), the second-year big man has averaged 4.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 combined steals-plus-blocks in 20.0 minutes per tilt.

Murray (illness) won't play Wednesday against the Grizzlies.

Murray attempted to play through the illness during Sunday's loss to the Hawks, but he exited the game after just four minutes and will now miss Wednesday's contest. Murray's next chance to play will come Friday in Houston.

Avdija (back) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game in Memphis.

Avdija is set to miss his fifth straight game, although head coach Tiago Splitter did say during a recent interview that Avdija was getting close, so maybe he'll be able to get back out there for Friday's game in Houston. Sidy Cissoko and Vit Krejci will continue divvying up Avdija's minutes and Jerami Grant will see an uptick in usage.

Jones (shoulder) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Lakers.

Jones will miss a third consecutive contest due to a right shoulder strain, and his next opportunity to play will come Friday against New York. With the 24-year-old forward unavailable, Tim Hardaway, Bruce Brown and Julian Strawther are candidates to see a slight uptick in playing time.
