When drafting in a Superflex league, you have to make the decision if you want to select a quarterback in Round 1. And if you do start your draft with a quarterback, are you taking two with your first two picks.

Here, in this 12-team, Superflex mock draft with members of our CBS Sports Staff, nine quarterbacks were drafted in the first round. And three Fantasy managers (Joel Cox, Heath Cummings and Dave Richard) started QB-QB. Joel drafted Patrick Mahomes and Brock Purdy, Heath went with Kyler Murray and Jayden Daniels and Dave selected Joe Burrow and Jordan Love.

It's a good strategy, and you can see how Dave put his team together from the No. 9 overall spot. Along with Burrow and Love, Dave got David Montgomery, James Conner, Tony Pollard, Chuba Hubbard and Tyrone Tracy Jr. at running back. His receivers are Drake London, Chris Olave, Deebo Samuel, Ladd McConkey, Khalil Shakir and Ja'Lynn Polk, with Mark Andrews at tight end. And Taysom Hill is his third quarterback.

Dave doesn't have a hole on his roster, and this team should be excellent if Burrow and Love perform as top-10 Fantasy quarterbacks. That said, I don't want to commit to two quarterbacks with my first two picks in this format.

I had the No. 2 overall pick and selected Josh Allen. Instead of drafting Tua Tagovailoa in Round 2, I went with A.J. Brown and then took Garrett Wilson in Round 3.

I drafted Isiah Pacheco in Round 4 and didn't get my second quarterback until Round 5 with Matthew Stafford. I love those first four picks, and Stafford is a solid Superflex.

Dalton Kincaid was my selection in Round 6, and then I decided to lock up my third quarterback Will Levis in Round 7. While drafting a third quarterback before a second running back might seem strange, I like having three quarterbacks that I can rely on, and Levis is one of my favorite sleepers this year.

Now, my focus was building out my receiving corps and getting running back depth. My draft finished with Diontae Johnson, Christian Watson, Devin Singletary, Rico Dowdle, Ty Chandler, Jaleel McLaughlin, Dontayvion Wicks and Audric Estime. I might have the two best receivers in Green Bay and the two best running backs in Denver, and I'm happy with how this roster was built.

While it might seem like a priority to start QB-QB in a Superflex league, you can wait on your second quarterback a little longer if you want to attack other positions in the draft. And that's the blueprint I like better in this format.

As a reference point for this mock draft, all touchdowns are worth six points, and we award one point for every 10 yards rushing and receiving and one point for every 25 yards passing. We also award one point for every reception. We feature a starting lineup of QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, FLEX (RB/WR/TE) and Superflex (QB/RB/WR/TE) with six reserves for a 15-round draft.
