This is our final mock draft before we start looking at the incoming rookies for 2020, and we wanted to switch up the format to include a Superflex spot. It's always fun to increase the importance for quarterbacks, who tend to get devalued in most one-quarterback leagues.

This is a 12-team PPR league where you start two running backs, three receivers, one tight end and a regular flex spot (RB/WR/TE), along with a kicker and DST. But we also start a Superflex spot (QB/RB/WR/TE) with a quarterback, which gives you the option of making this a two-quarterback roster if you want.

The scoring for quarterbacks are five points for passing touchdowns (minus-2 for interceptions), while all other touchdowns are worth six points. You also get one point per reception, and we award one point for every 10 yards rushing and receiving and one point for every 25 yards passing.

If the quarterback scoring were six points for passing touchdowns, we might have seen more passers come off the board sooner. Instead, only Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson went in Round 1.

By Round 5, nine quarterbacks had been selected (Mahomes, Jackson, Kyler Murray, Dak Prescott, Russell Wilson, Deshaun Watson, Josh Allen, Drew Brees and Matt Ryan) and there were 13 quarterbacks drafted by Round 7 (Tom Brady, Carson Wentz, Aaron Rodgers and Matthew Stafford). The floodgates opened in Rounds 8 and 9 when 13 more quarterbacks were selected in those rounds (Baker Mayfield, Daniel Jones, Jared Goff, Jimmy Garoppolo, Ben Roethlisberger, Gardner Minshew, Ryan Tannehill, Teddy Bridgewater, Philip Rivers, Sam Darnold, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tyrod Taylor and Drew Lock).

In total, there were 36 quarterbacks drafted in this mock, including Taysom Hill, Jameis Winston, Andy Dalton, Mitchell Trubisky, Cam Newton and Jarrett Stidham. While all of these guys, aside from Hill, could be starting NFL quarterbacks in 2020, this group shows the value of the position in this format.

For example, Adam Aizer drafted four quarterbacks in Brees, Roethlisberger, Nick Foles and Dwayne Haskins. He also has just four running backs on his roster with Ezekiel Elliott, Damien Williams, Ronald Jones and Derrius Guice, which might not be the kind of balance you want, but quarterbacks do provide a lot of capital in a Superflex league for potential trades.

Two managers only drafted two quarterbacks in Frank Stampfl (Murray and Tannehill) and Will Brinson (Jackson and Wentz), which allowed them to add quality talent at other spots. For Frank, he has standout running backs (Saquon Barkley, Devin Singletary, Mark Ingram and Tarik Cohen) and receivers (Mike Evans, Keenan Allen, Deebo Samuel and Marvin Jones), and the same goes for Will (Nick Chubb, Chris Carson, Odell Beckham, A.J. Green, Diontae Johnson, Mike Williams and John Brown).

I drafted three quarterbacks with Allen, Brady and Bridgewater, and I like the way my roster came together. I have Derrick Henry, Miles Sanders and Marlon Mack as my top running backs, Michael Thomas as my top receiver and Darren Waller at tight end.

The one hole on my team could be my second-tier receivers in Jamison Crowder, Anthony Miller, Kenny Stills, Sterling Shepard and Allen Lazard, and I need two of them as starters. Now, I love the upside for Crowder, who is the No. 1 receiver for the Jets with Robby Anderson gone, and Miller should get a boost this season with Taylor Gabriel gone and Foles the likely starter for the Bears. Stills also gets an upgrade with DeAndre Hopkins gone in Houston, and Shepard can be the No. 1 receiver for the Giants. Lazard also could still be a starter for the Packers opposite Davante Adams.

That group doesn't look great on paper coming out of the draft, but a few of those guys will be nice surprises in 2020. And adding them to the rest of my standout options should make this a competitive team.
