Fantasy Football Superflex mock draft results, recap: Quarterbacks fly off the board early

You never know how a Superflex draft is going to unfold when it comes to quarterbacks. Is your league going to be patient with the position? Or will there be a flurry of quarterbacks drafted in the first round?

In a Superflex league, you can start two quarterbacks, so it pays to invest in the position early. George Maselli did that here in our latest 12-team, Superflex mock draft (0.5 PPR). He was the lone Fantasy manager to start his team with two quarterbacks with Josh Allen in Round 1 and Russell Wilson in Round 2.

George should have a significant edge at quarterback and Superflex, and he still built a solid team to put around them. His running backs are Chris Carson, Miles Sanders, Chase Edmonds, Jamaal Williams and Leonard Fournette, and George also has A.J. Brown, Chris Godwin, Marquez Callaway, Jarvis Landry, Russell Gage and Parris Campbell at receiver.

George has Tyler Higbee at tight end, and he also drafted a third quarterback in Sam Darnold. This is a solid roster, and George should be great as long as Allen and Wilson are healthy.

Compare that team to Meron Berkson's roster, who waited until Round 6 to draft his first quarterback with Tua Tagovailoa. His second quarterback is Ben Roethlisberger, who he got in Round 8. He did not draft a third quarterback.

Where Meron did well with his team was getting stars at the start of his draft with Travis Kelce, Jonathan Taylor, Justin Jefferson and DK Metcalf. He also has D'Andre Swift, Kareem Hunt and James Conner at running back, with Jaylen Waddle, Darnell Mooney, D.J. Chark, DeVante Parker and Amon-Ra St. Brown as his other receivers. Gerald Everett is his second tight end.

This team is awesome, but he could be in trouble if Tagovailoa or Roethlisberger struggle or get hurt. He's at a potential disadvantage at quarterback, but the rest of his team is stacked.

For my team, I built my roster closer to what George did. The biggest difference was passing on a quarterback in Round 1 at No. 5 overall and instead drafting Alvin Kamara.

I went QB-QB next with Kyler Murray and Tom Brady, and I loved this start, especially getting Robert Woods in Round 4. The rest of my running backs are Myles Gaskin, Javonte Williams, Tony Pollard and Rhamondre Stevenson, and I have Chase Claypool, Michael Thomas, Marvin Jones, Michael Gallup and T.Y. Hilton at receiver.

My third quarterback is Daniel Jones, and I have T.J. Hockenson at tight end. I was thrilled with this roster, and this team should be amazing when Thomas and Hilton are healthy.

In this league, all touchdowns are worth six points, and we award one point for every 10 yards rushing and receiving and one point for every 25 yards passing.
