Hicks was the leading tackler among both teams Monday, and his 12 tackles were his most since Week 4 of the 2023 regular season (13). In the three games since the Browns' Week 10 bye, Hicks has logged 24 tackles (nine solo), including 1.0 sacks.

Hicks recorded six tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks, during Thursday's 24-19 win versus the Steelers. Hicks led Cleveland's linebackers in snaps (60) in Week 12, and he came up with his second sack of the year in the first quarter. His overall production is still lagging behind the standard he has set for himself in past seasons though, keeping him off the IDP map in most formats going into a Week 13 game at Denver.

Hicks (elbow/tricep) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Hicks missed four of the Browns' five games prior to a Week 10 bye due to the pair of injuries, but his ability to practice Wednesday without restrictions sets the stage for him to return to action Sunday against the Saints. Across five appearances on the season, Hicks has logged 24 tackles (14 solo) and one sack.

Coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that he expects Hicks (elbow) to return in Week 11, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. Hicks has missed four of the Browns' last five games due to injuries, but it now looks like he could come back for their contest at New Orleans. Cleveland's first official practice report of the week Wednesday should provide more insight into his status.

Hicks (ribs/elbow/triceps) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Chargers, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. Hicks was unable to practice all week and now is in line to miss his fourth game this season due to ribs, elbow and triceps injuries. The first-year Brown has recorded 24 total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, and defended two passes across his five appearances this season. Expect Mohamoud Diabate to serve as Cleveland's top middle linebacker in Hicks' stead.
