Reed recorded 46 total tackles (37 solo) and seven passes defensed, including two interceptions, while also adding a forced fumble and a fumble recovery over 11 contests during the 2025 regular season. Reed was forced to miss six games with a hamstring injury in October and November, limiting his overall numbers on the season. The cornerback was able to secure multiple interceptions for the first time since 2021, while his fumble recovery was his first since that season as well. Reed inked a three-year deal with the Lions prior to the season, and he's all set to start opposite of Terrion Arnold (shoulder) again in 2026.

Reed (hamstring) was activated from injured reserve Saturday and does not carry an injury designation for Week 12. Reed was moved to injured reserve Oct. 1 after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 4 versus the Browns. His return in Week 12 will be a major boost for the Lions' secondary, as Terrion Arnold (concussion) was ruled out for Sunday. Reed recorded 16 tackles and an interception prior to his injury.

Reed (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports. Reed was designated for return from injured reserve last week, opening his 21-day practice window. His potential return would be a big boost to the lineup after Terrion Arnold (concussion) was ruled out for Sunday's game. Amik Robertson and Rock Ya-Sin played virtually every defensive snap at cornerback last Sunday against the Eagles.

Reed (hamstring) practiced in limited fashion Thursday. Reed has been on IR since Oct. 1 due to a hamstring injury. He was designated to return Nov. 12 and was limited in all three practices last week. Reed has begun this week of prep with two more limited practices, and it's unclear if he'll be activated to return Sunday against the Giants.

Reed had his 21-day practice window to return from injured reserve open during Week 11 prep, but he wasn't cleared to play against the Eagles this past Sunday. His practice participation over the next two days will provide more clarity on his chances of being activated from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game against the Giants. Reed has missed the Lions' last six games due to a hamstring injury.
